Ross's POV
Maia is currently getting ready to go on set. While I watch her do her hair I think of ways to entertain Riley. Riley's a shy girl so I'm going to make her be so out there. First we are going to eat some really good French toast with fruit after go play some guitar and get a bit of work done after we are going outside to play in the back and go back to have lunch. Then later teach her how to swim and when Maia comes we'll order pizza and that's our day.
"Ross babe" Maia says leaning for a kiss on my lips
"Have a good day at work baby" I pull her onto the bed "do you have to go" I whine
"You know I have to Ross. I'll be back later and make sure to get Riley real tired so she can sleep early" Maia winks
I immediately started to laugh but then I stopped "wait you mean.. You said we wouldn't... Wait you're lieing"
"You never know" she said walking out of the room
It was six in the morning so I decided to take a nap.
An hour later...
"Where's maia?" Riley said
"She's at work" I said half awake
"Oh" she slowly started walking away.
I got up and made breakfast downstairs. When it was done I called Riley over.
"Riley breakfast is ready" I said opening her door
"I don't want any" she looked down
"Hey what's wrong?" I said
"I want Maia here" Riley turned back
"But I'm here too oh come on today will be a blast I promise" I smiled
"But you are always doing something and you won't teach me how to play the guitar" I guess I haven't really gotten Riley's trust yet
"I'm so sorry Riley come here I'll make you a deal yeah I'll play with you all the time and if I'm working I'll let you help me" I said picking her up
"That's a deal now can we go eat your food smells good" she laughed
"Well it taste good too come on" I put her on my back and piggy rides her downstairs into the kitchen.
We began to eat and talk about her favorite things to do.
"So what sports do you like?" I said
"I don't know? I like soccer I used to play it with my friends but they were older than me and they were good" she kept eating
"How about football?" I asked
"Isn't that for boys?" She giggled
"No want to play later on I'll teach you it's fun" I grabbed my dish and put it in the dish washer.
"Okay. Here I'm done" she handed me the plate
"Okay let's go to the studio room out in the garage go get your guitar" I said
Once she got it she looked ready to learn.
"Okay ready Ross!" She sat next to me and watched me play
"Wow you're really good" she clapped
"You're going to be as good as me Riley" I patted her head messing it up
"You know ross you can call me Ley it's shorter" she looked at me
"Okay I'll call you Ley then. Pick up your guitar and hold it like this. Now just start strumming first." I showed her and she began to strum
"Keep a rhythm like down down up or something just keep a pattern so it doesn't sound off" I explained to her and she is a quick learner so it wasn't hard for her
"See you've got it! Now the first chord is the C chord and this is how you play it" We did this for about an hour. Riley is talking way more to me now. Never thought of adopting a kid especially not when I'm 19. I'm still pretty a teen and I know I'm over 18 but it's crazy. For Riley I've got to step up.
As time when by we played football outside and ate lunch. It was around 12 when we ate and I waited an hour to make sure her food digested so we could get in the pool. During the hour we sat and colored and played this board game my dad got her.
"Ross Ross look I'm done with the picture now you can see" she showed it to me
"That's incredible Ley you drew that?" I smiled
Riley drew a picture of the three of us. I was on the left she was in the middle and Maia to the right. On top of the page she put 'Family' in colorful letters.
"Yes do you think it's pretty" Riley asked
"Yeah it's awesome come here let's put it on the refrigerator so Maia can see it when she comes home" I picked her up so she could put it.
"Here the magnet" I handed it to her
"Now can we go swimming!! I really want to wear the swimsuit Rydel got me!" She begged
"Yeah go get changed I'm going to put some shorts on" I went to my room and put on some shorts and waited for Riley.
"I'm ready Ross" she yelled from downstairs
"Coming do you have the donut floats?" I said heading downstairs
"Yes they're in the pool" she got my hand and walked outside
"Don't let go" she grabbed me tightly when we walked in the pool
"Put these floaties on it'll help you swim" she put them on and I held her while she tried to swim
"Ross don't let go" she kept going
"I won't I promise. Do you want to relax for a bit on the stairs" I said
"It's okay I want to learn how to swim so when Rydel and Ellington come I can show them" she lifted her head kicked the water and swam
"You're doing good you sure you don't want me to let go?" I said
"Will you get me if I can't swim" I said
"I will" I held her one more time and slowly let go
"No Ross!" She said frightened
"I've got you no worries it's okay I didn't learn how to swim that easily" I put her back on the stairs and sat with her.
About half an hour later we got out and dried up.
"I know how to shower already. Ross I'll be right back." She took off
I followed her and waited outside of the bathroom to make sure nothing happened. She got out and went to her room to change.
In the afternoon I ordered pizza and Maia came.
"I'm home!" She said putting her purse down.
"Maia!!!" Me and Riley yelled.
"Maia I had so much fun today me and Ross played the guitar, football, we colored ohh come here" she grabbed Maia's hand and led her to the kitchen to show her the picture she drew.
"Aww this is adorable thank you sweetie" she kissed Riley on the cheek
"But I don't get a kiss" I joked
Riley started laughing "eww not in front of me" she covered her eyes while Maia pecked me on the lips
When the pizza came we sat of the living room and watch pizza. We talked about the wedding and where we should go on our honeymoon. We could decided yet because there where so many different places to go.
"Look shes asleep" Maia said. I carried her to her room and covered her with a blanket. I closed her door and went back into the bedroom with Maia.
"I'm so tired" Maia put her head down in the bed.
"You want a massage" I asked getting next to her
"Please babe" she mumbled
I started massaging her neck and went and slowly went down her back.
"Thanks babe I love you" she turned around and I laid next to her and wrapped my arms around her waist then I pulled her on top of me.
"I love you too Maia" I kissed her and it turned out to be a make out session she sat on my lap and crossed her legs around my waist.
She cupped my face and slowly put her hands on my shirt to take it off.
I brought her closer to me and softly kissed the back of her neck.
"Ross this was just to turn you on. You've got less than 3 months chill" Maia teased
"You can be doing this to me" I picked her up
"Babe put me down" she laughed
"Not until you give me another goodnight kiss"
"Fine I'll give you a special one" she pushed me on the bed and giggled.
She turned off the lights and jumped onto the bed and crawled on me then took her shirt off. Maia French kissed me and the rest was making out with each other.
