ROSS'S POV
Today is the day we find out if we are going to have a boy or girl and I'll be honest it doesn't matter what our child is im super stoked.
"Maia babe I got the car running already" I said from downstairs
"I'm coming" Maia begins to walk down the stairs
"Need a lift" I help Maia walk down the stairs
"I didn't need help but thanks" she smiles
"Riley Cierra is here to pick you up" Maia calls out to Riley
"I'm going mom" Cierra takes her out while we go to our doctors appointment today
At the doctors...
"Maia Charlotte Lynch" the doctor called
"Let's go" I hold Maia's hand and we walk into a room with the doctor
"Maia your baby seems to be doing great so do you guys want to know what your child is" Doctor Winchester says
"Yeah" I look at Maia
"Okay well I'm glad to tell you that you will have a son coming soon congratulations" he walks out to leave us alone
"A son!!" Maia goes in complete shock
"We are having a boy!" I jump in excitement
"Ross we are going to have a little version of you" Maia and I tear up
"Babe this is one the best news I've heard" I fall to my knees and cover my face with my arms
A true memory I won't forget.
"Maia we are going to have such a cool son" I wipe her tears and hug her
"You know it" she says hugging me around the neck
"Let's stop at the paint shop to get ideas on how to paint the nursery and designs to put on the walls" I tell Maia as the doctor comes back in.
"Yeah definitely" Maia grabs the papers the doctor hands her
"Thank you so much" we say to the doctor
"No problem have you guys thought of a name?" He asked
"We are getting there" Maia gets up and gets off the chair
"Okay well Ross Maia have a great day see you at the next appointment" and we walk back to the car.
"What are good colors like neutral blue?" Maia suggest
"I think that's great what should we ask someone there for advice and we can get started" we drove all the way to the paint shop close in town
We went into the shop and looked around and picked colors. We got a paper for every color that we like so eventually we could choose from those colors.
"You fellows looking for a specific paint?" The worker asked
"We are looking for colors for our nursery room" Maia says to him
"We have books if you'd like to look at them Id be glad to let you see it" He pulls out book and shows us paints
"Wow this is cool a beige color and we could decorate it with a lot" I tell Maia
"I've been thinking the same babe should we do it" she smiles
"I mean if you want to or should we keep looking?" I flip through more pages
"Beige is a great color Ross and I like your ideas so we'll go with this beige" The worker gets the paint and we pay for it.
"I've got some pretty great ideas for this nursery" I grin
"Let's get started" we drive back home and get ready to paint the nursery
It may seem like we are doing this fast but I mean Maia will give labor in April and we are busy people. Today's a great day to paint and have fun. I put on some short and grab some tape from the garage. Maia changes into some shorts and baggy shirt and meets me in the nursery.
"Okay heres a paint roller" I hand one to paint and pour some paint in a container. Maia puts on the R5 Sometime last night album and we begin painting walls.
"F.E.E.L.G.O.O.D. Yes I feel good sing it with me" Maia sings as loud as she could and I just die in laughter
"F.E.E.L.G.O.O.D. Yes I feel good sing it with me" we sang
"You're crazy" I shout
"Crazy for you see what I did there" she comes over to kiss me
"The rooms looking great so far" I stand back to look at it
"It's so hard not to find you attractive right now" Maia puts her arms around my neck. I lean down and kiss her which turns into a make out session.
"We should start painting huh we'll 'Do it again' I'm on a roll here" Maia chuckles
"I love you so much" I laugh
We continue painting until we finish three walls. We were going to finish the last wall except it was getting dark and Riley had came. We played games with her and Sadie in the backyard. Maia and I made dinner and ate. After Maia put Riley to sleep me and Maia went up to our room and cuddled.
"Can you believe if I hadn't of auditioned for Teen Beach Movie I wouldn't of ever gotten to have a relationship like this I wouldn't of ever tasted your lips or love somebody as much as I love you" Maia whispered
"I'm so fortunate to have you babe so glad I didn't let you pass me by" I grab her
MAIA'S POV
"It all started in Puerto Rico. Our first kiss remember" I smile to the thought
That kiss changed that night.
"How could I forget that?" Ross looks at me in the eyes "what about all our dates surfing, having picnics, going roller skating, water gun fights" Ross brings back all the great memories
"Don't forget that time we went on the hot air balloon that was probably the best date we went on" I mention
"We haven't been going to as much dates like we used to but we're going to change that because the more memories the more stories we get to tell our kids one day" and that's exactly what we need
More memories together make amazing stories. This is just the start.
If you looked at the pictures after the video that's what their sons room will look like. I chose it because of the planes and Ross loves planes so planes will be something they fly for father and son times 😉
