MAIA'S POV
"Well well well did you really think I wouldn't get myself out of jail?" Laura came walking inside my house.
"What are you doing here?" I asked backing Riley away
"I just came to stop by to see how you and Ross were doing. I'm guessing you too moved in together and who's this cute little girl?" Hearing her voice gave me goosebumps. Her sarcasm in her voice just scared me. She seems happy but I know inside her she's steaming.
"Mind your own business Laura go away" I demanded
"Mom she's Ally for Austin and Ally" Riley ran to Laura and hugged her.
"What a nice little girl what's your name?" Laura asked Riley. I just glared at her
"Riley but you can call me Ley" she smiles
"Riley go up to your room and get ready to go with grandma please" I patted her back
"Okay mom" she ran upstairs
"Laura cut the crap what the hell do you want from us knowing you I know you want revenge or some crap" I got to her face
"Maia Maia calm down I just stopped by to tell you I was released okay and to tell you to take care of Ross from me alright" she faked smiled
"Ross! Ross!" I yelled
"Why are you calling Ross? I need to go bye and remember take care of Ross!" She walked out and left
"What's wrong!" Ross sprinted inside
"I.. I uh thought I saw something but it's all okay now I'm sorry" I hugged him around the waist and my heart pumped fast.
"Are you okay?" He looked down at me
"Yeah yeah let's not be late for our date" I slowly smiled.
"Riley come on!" Ross shouted
"Coming dad" Riley brought her purse.
The entire drive to the Lynchs' house I was pretty silent looking out the window.
What did Laura want? How did she even get out of jail? What type of money did she have to get out? Laura better not mess with Riley or Ross because I swear I will kill her if I have too. If she touches any of us I will make sure she pays for it. The last time I saw her was at the abandoned warehouse freaking out when the cops arrested her. That's what she needed and know she's acting all nice and happy. I can't trust her.
"Look grandma's outside waiting Riley go have fun. Hi mom!!" Ross waved.
"We'll pick her up at eight" I said and Riley ran off to Stormie.
"Where are we going for our date?" I asked
"The Grove" he smiles and put his arm around me while we drove off
We had dinner and walked around. We sat on a bench looking out to the water fountain.
"You know just because we are married we will still have these dates and I'll still take us to the park to have picnics or take you out to coffee because we should enjoy everyday of our lives together and happy and I also thought that if we have arguments we'll save them for a day of the week lets say Sunday and when we get to the day we'll say was it even worth arguing" Ross says holding me closely
"I think that's a perfect idea" I smiled in his chest
"No secrets" Ross whispered
"Okay" I pulled out of the hug
Should I just tell him what happened? Or the secret I'm hiding from him.
"We should go pick Riley up so she can rest for school tomorrow" I wasn't ready to tell him at least not now.
"Yeah good idea. You too you've got work tomorrow right" we linked hands and walked to the car.
"Yeah I've got to go on set and practice lines" I smiled
"Have fun. I'll be in the studio tomorrow all day with R5 so I can pick Riley up" he pecked my lips softly
"Great" we got back to pick Riley up and went home to get ready for bed.
"Goodnight sweetheart I'll get you ready for tomorrow early in the morning before I leave goodnight" I tucked her in bed and turned off the lights.
I went back into our room and took off my dress and into my pajamas. I took off my makeup and washed my face.
"You know you looked stunning tonight" Ross jumped in bed with me.
"Did I?" I asked
"Absolutely I've got to be the luckiest man getting the beautifulest women alive" Ross flirted
"Oh shush have you not seen Beyoncé" I playfully smacked him
"Oh come on nothing can be compared to a beauty like you" he smiles
"Aww babe I love you so much I'm the luckiest person to have such a great husband like you" I kissed him
"So am I being a good boy" he winked
"Stop it" I laughed "goodnight" I turned off the lamp and he wraps his arms around my waist
"Goodnight baby" he wh supers in my ear
The next morning I woke up got dresses and got Riley ready for school. I quickly took off and left to Burbank to go on set. Cierra and I had scenes together so we spent the day practicing lines with David.
"What's new boo thang" Cierra giggled
"Oh well me and Ross went on a date yesterday at The Grove" I didn't tell her anything else
"Aw cute me and Rocky are planning on moving in together" she said excitingly
"Really! Move next door to us" I joked
"Oh my god we can be neighbors! Then we'll have crazy parties and spent everyday together" Cierra likes the idea
"We started looking at houses last night but just barely" she winked
"I don't need to know about your sexual life" I burst to laughter
At the end of the day I drove to the grocery store to pick up groceries so I stopped at Trader Joes to get food.
"So are you taking care of Ross?" Laura's voice snuck up behind me
"What the hell" I jumped of fear
"You shop here too?" She had a cart of food
"I wouldn't be shopping here if I didn't" I rolled my eyes at her
"No need to get bitchy goodness. I have a deal to make you now wait" she looked around the vegetables
"I don't want to make a deal with you" I pushed the trollie away
"But it's a great deal hear it out" Laura followed
"What Laura what!" I spoke aloud
"I'll leave you alone and forever this time I won't ever bother you I cross my heart and put it on my family if you do as I say I need to make people trust me again people don't know why I went to jail and I don't want them to know so you've got to make me and Ross be in the same building together and don't tell him I set this up also I'll be calling you to do me three favors okay but if you don't then I'll hurt you really bad" she smiled and went off
"Oh and make sure to take care of Ross for me" Laura went off
What's her problem! I mean I can get them in the same room together but three favors?! How does she have my number? Hacker not surprised.
I went home to find Riley asleep and Ross jamming outside by himself.
I put the groceries away and went out with him.
"How was your day?" I asked
"Great how about yours" he set his guitar down and let me sit on him
"It could've gone better but I love you" I will say that to him everyday of my life
"I love you too" he says
