MAIA'S POV
It's Riley's first day of kindergarten and experience of being in school. She's been waiting for this day all summer. I put her a pink dress with white flats and curled her hair and put a bow. I packed her lunch and set it inside her lunchbox.
"Finish your breakfast Ley" I said washing the dishes
"I'm finished mom" she came and handed me her plate
"Dad I'm ready for school" she called out to Ross in the backyard
"Okay quick picture please" I said getting my camera ready.
"Cheese" she posed
"Adorable" Ross picked her up and gave her a kiss on the cheek.
"Ready to meet your new teacher" I said
"Mhm" she nodded
"Let's go" we drove in the car and went to her kindergarten.
"Welcome my name is Mrs. Fields what's your name?" Mrs. Fields says to Riley.
"My name is Riley Lynch" she smiled
"Okay Riley go put your backpack in the backpack hangers and go play for now" Mrs. Fields welcomed Riley in.
"Hello my name is Ross and this is my wife Maia" Ross said
"Aren't you people too young for marriage?" Mrs. Fields chuckles "well Ross and Maia this is a very safe school. Your child will be protected here and get her education she needs. Is there any questions you've got for me?" She asked
"No we're fine. Mrs. Fields it's nice meeting you. I'll come back at noon to pick her up" I shook her hand.
"Thank you" Ross and I drove back home.
"So is today our free day?" Ross hugs be from behind.
"Guess it is" I winked
"Well then what do you want to do? Me?" He joked
"Shut up" I laughed
"Tonight?" He gave me a duck lips face
"Riley's going to hear us idiot" I sat on the stool.
"Well don't be loud but right now would be great" I roll my eyes at him
"So what do you want for breakfast?" I asked
"You? I'm kidding babe how about I make you something delicious to eat and you can go relax in that couch because I know how much you work" He puts me in his back and takes me to the living room
"I'll be back with eggs and hash browns" I gave his a peck on the lips for being sweet.
Ross came back with two trays and orange juice.
"Thanks baby" I thank him and start to eat. We put on Netflix and watch Supernatural.
"Dean is so hot! Look at him" I fangirl
"What? Really so I'm not hot" Ross looks at me
"Of course you are! Just not Dean hot
I'm kidding I'm kidding I love you so much and I wouldn't be with any other guy except you.... And dean" I laughed
"Wow I've got some competition with Dean Huh well too bad I'm married with you and have a house with you with an adopted child oh not too mention we've slept together" Ross winks
"Yeah I know so I mean it's not as bad but still" I finish eating.
"But still does Dean give you kisses on your shoulder or on your sweet lips like this" Ross begins to kiss me
"Does Dean bring you on his lap like I do and hold you tight around lower back and run your back" Ross began to do what he said and kisses me on my neck to get turned on
"Fuck you Ross" I say as he teases
"I love you too baby girl" I sit on his lap and we continue to watch Supernatural
Once we finish the episode Ross goes in the studio in the back to work on his songs while I wash clothes and pick up anything that I see that might be dirty. Ross helps a lot so it's always nice and Riley isn't much of a dirty child so our house is nice and clean.
"Babe want to go out on a date later? My mom wants to take Riley out shopping today so we can drop her off and go out somewhere" Ross comes in.
"Sounds great" I say and check the time
"Ley should be getting out soon I'll go pick her up. I'm the mean time can you feed Sadie she's got a little bit on her bowl" I rush out and go on to pick up Riley
"How did school go?" I asked Riley as we got in the car
"I'm the only kindergartener who knows how to read and know the alphabet!" She cheered
"Wow that's awesome Ley congrats! Well you're going to go shopping with your grandma today so that's exciting" I began to drive back home
"That's great my teacher says we don't get homework for another three weeks so I'm all ready!" Riley claps
"I remember my first day of kindergarten, I had the biggest backpack ever but a bigger sass" I giggled
We got home and I was getting ready to go on my date with Ross. I put on a nice casual dress and come sandals and put my hair in a nice bit messy way. I painted my nails and waited for them to dry.
Riley came into the room.
"Mom there's someone at the door"
"Riley what did I tell you about opening doors. Next time tell me before you open it okay" I went downstairs
"I'm sorry" she looked down
"It's okay sweetie" I squat down and hug her
I walk to the door and look to find someone standing.
"Hello Mrs. Lynch"
