23 Weeks December 28, 2015
MAIA'S POV
I'm 23 weeks old! My stomach is getting bigger by the time and so far time's been pretty good. There's time when it gets rough and I get stressed out over work but Ross manages to make me better. When I told the producers I was pregnant they were shocked and almost fell to their chairs but they had a great idea that Callie my character would become pregnant so I guess it turned out well.
We've been going to the doctors and we decided to wait to find out if it was a boy or girl. Ross and I are going to go next week for New Years to find out and we are excited. I've found top names for our child but I don't really know. I guess the name will come up when the right time comes.
Tomorrow me and Ross's family are planning a surprise birthday party for Ross. He just thinks we are going out for lunch but really we are throwing him a party with all our family and friends. We bought all the drinks and supplies needed for the party and have them hidden in the storage room by the garage. We just need to get Ross out of the house tomorrow so we can decorate everything.
"Ross tomorrow's your birthday and you still haven't told me what you want" I dress into pajamas and go brush my teeth.
"Mai you know I told you I don't want nothing but you. I want you Riley and this baby right here" Ross rubs my stomach and smiles
"Daddy loves you" he whispers
"Aww you're so sweet babe" I go into bed
The next day...
I wake up around seven and start getting things done before Ross woke up. Rydel and Ellington come early to help with stuff I need. When I heard Ross getting out of bed I gave them a look to stop what they are doing.
"Happy Birthday Ross" I give him a huge hug and kiss him.
"Happy birthday little brother" Rydel hugs ross and Ellington comes in
"Happy birthday man"
"Dad happy birthday!" Riley comes running down the stairs and jumps on Ross.
"Thank you guys so much" he carries Riley into the living room
"Ross mom wants you to go to her house" Rydel lies
"Oh right now?" He looks at her
"Yeah she was going to come but something happened so she wants to see you" Rydel strokes her hair and smiles
"Alright I'll go right now I'm going to stop at the store you guys need anything?" Ross asks
"Uh no we're good" I look around
"Riley want to go to grandmas!" He shouts as he goes to grab the keys
"Mom I'm going to grandmas" Riley runs past me
"Alright" I speed back to the room and we grab decorations out and start decorating the backyard.
We put ribbons balloons banners and set up tables. We made a candy stop area so kids can come and grab candy. After we finished we covered the french doors with curtains and put the blinds down so Ross wouldn't notice the backyard.
I texted everyone when we were done so that soon the party could begin. When Ross came he took a shower and got ready for our "lunch" but I'm just going to keep his distracted.
We got well dressed and were out the door.
"So where should we go babe" Ross opens the door to the car and closes it.
"Riker texted me telling me he wants to meet up at your parents house" I pretend to look down at my phone
"Okay well I'm not ready to get punched at" he smirks
As we begin to drive Rydel calls me as part of the plan.
"They are at home" I look at Ross
"Wow idiots could've called us 15 minutes earlier" Ross turns and heads back home
Once we get there I look at Riley since she had known the surprise.
"Dad can you help me" Riley tells Ross and I walk inside fast and and run to the backyard to wait for Ross to come out back.
"He's coming" I whispered
"SURPRISE!!" Everyone screamed
"Happy birthday" everyone shouted
"Thank you guys so much" he became red
"It was all Maia's idea" Rydel mentions
"Thanks Mai I love you this is a wonderful surprise" I feel his strong arms wrap around me and a warm soft kiss on my forehead.
"I love you too now enjoy your party" I say to him
The entire day was filled with laughter and joy. That's everything you want in a party and Ross got it.
Once it's cake time everyone gathers around the table and sings
"Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday dear Ross
Happy birthday to you" and everyone cheers and whistles
Riker and Rocky look at me and they push they're hands meaning to push Ross in the cake so I put my hand around Ross gently and push his face by the corner of his face.
Everyone laughs and I couldn't stop laughing. He turns and chuckles.
"I'm going to get you Maia" he starts chasing me around and gets me eventually and kisses my face so I could get full of cake.
"The cake taste well actually" I tease
"It does right" he laughs
At night when the guest leave it was just Ross, Rydel, Ell, Cierra, Rocky, Riker and his girlfriend. We sat out in the backyard and talked.
"Ell and Ross how does it feel like knowing you're going to have a baby coming soon?" Riker tells them
"It feels great honestly like I hear people tell me oh well you're young twenty today but I feel like I'm okay with it. I married the girl of my dreams and I'm going to have a child soon but sooner is better than later. We are going to enjoy our lives as much as possible and having a child is a great thing" he made me emotional because it's so true.
We have to live our life to the fullest. Why should we wait just because because say so? We are in love and nothing changes that.
