ROSS'S POV
When we went up to my room to sleep I noticed Maia a bit gloomy. I took Riley to go sleep with our little cousin who came in the guest room and went back to my room.
"Maia what's wrong babe" I hugged her around her waist
"I called my mother and she isn't quite happy with the baby situation" Maia said as she took her earrings off
"I'm sorry to hear that but it doesn't matter I'm here for you everyone in this house is here for you and to be honest I'm excited for this journey. I'm glad you told me because I want to be here for you take care of you take care of our baby coming. I'm going to wake up at two in the morning just to go get whatever you're craving and be ready for anything you need. Maia baby don't get caught up with anything that gets in your way like your mom or the public criticizing fuck them they're just jealous that they can't have the cutest baby to be born" I cupped her face and kissed her
She giggled while we kissed "you're right thank you"
"How about a good foot rub?" I smile with my eyebrows up
"Okay we are starting to sound like an old couple" Maia laughs
"We're very young people very young Mai guess you don't want that foot or back rub okay" I crawl on the bed
"Oh you can still give me it come on please" she gives me puppy eyes
"Fine turn around" and I massaged her back "so do I get a turn"
"Depends if I don't fall asleep" Maia giggles "I'll give you a back rub tomorrow" she closes her eyes
Once she falls asleep I lay next to her and look at her. Soon I begin to fall asleep knowing today has changed my life. Today I know that I'll have a kid of my own one that me and Maia will raise together and our family will grow even bigger. I'll be there when it takes its first blinks and first breaths as its out in the real world. That moment will change my life even more in a great way.
I fall asleep with a smile across my face.
"Dad! Mom! Wake up! Grandma said that breakfast will be right up" Riley jumped in bed
"Woah Riley you seem very energetic today" I yawned
"We're getting up Ley tell your grandma we'll be done in a bit to help set up" Maia stretches
"Okay mom" Riley closes the door
"I slept very well in your bed last night" Maia tells me as I put on a shirt
"Glad you did" I smiled
We went down and helped set plates cups forks and napkins on the table. Mom was making breakfast and had us toast bread while the others came.
Rydel and Cierra came and the girls took over so they had me leave the kitchen. They made us take things to the tables and us being gentleman we served them food the ladies and we ate as a huge family.
"Imagine when we have a lot of kids and when we do parties or gatherings it's going to be pretty crazy" Cierra looked at us
"The more the better" Mom said loudly but we couldn't stop laughing
"Aunt Rydel will you and mommy have the babies the same day?" Riley asked
"I don't think so Riley baby mines going to be slightly older" Rydel said back
"One last question where do babies come from?" The question I wouldn't expect today
"Uh Riley they come from a bird. It delivers babies all over the world to moms enough questions keep eating" I answered quickly
"Really!" She seemed fascinated
Everyone looked at me and laughed but I mean it wasn't as crazy as telling her they come from outer space or something.
Later that day we stopped at a book store because Maia wanted to look for guide books for having a baby and baby names.
"So I was thinking about the baby names and I" she looked at me and said
"All R's?" She said
"Yeah" I grinned
"Most definitely but we will give them two names first with R then a second name" Maia looked at the shelfs
"Sounds great beautiful" I smiled.
Believe it or not I will have my kids put in a band so they can have as much fun and me and the rest of family had being R5.
"Okay do you need any other books" Maia asked me
"No I think we're fine Riley is that the book you're getting" I looked down to see what she had
"Yes I'm getting this one" Riley holds her book up and hands it to me
We pay for the books and go back home. Riley takes a nap and we take her to her room and Maia calls me to come downstairs.
"Babe do you think it's too early to start thinking of names?" She asked
"No lets start looking for different names" I jump on the couch and we search through the book
"Here are the boy names hmm" we looked
"Reeve sounds pretty for a boy" Maia says
"Remington Reeve Lynch" I randomly said
"That sounds really good" Maia smiles
"What type of boy name is Ratchet!" I bust up laughing
"You're stupid" Maia chuckles
"This is really hard oh what about Rae?" I asked
"There's so many cute names let's leave those in mind and let's jump to girl names" Maia flipped the pages and went to girl names
"Raeyln!" Maia said
"Yes that'll be perfect" I looked at her and kissed her
"So are we going to have an R8?" I joked
"You want eight kids" Maia gave me a look
"I mean why not let's get this going" I winked
"You know I can't get more pregnant right because I have a baby inside of me" Maia laughed
"Even better! I'm just kidding Maia" I hugged her
"But it wouldn't hurt" she whispered
"I love you so much stop teasing" I laughed
"Okay wait really birds come from a bird you couldn't of thought of something better" Maia randomly pointed out
"Okay I watched Dumbo and that's what popped in my head I was going to tell her they come from a planet full of babies and they come in a rocket-ship and when they arrive they come flying down into the hospital" I gave her a serious look
"Wow."
