Chapter - 2

After finishing the meeting, Taehyung left for home, well his mension.It was one of the days when he didn't bring his trusted driver with him.So, he was the one driving through the busy road, annoyed by the busy streets.He pressed the break paddle when he spotted a puppy in front of his car.If he was annoyed earlier, now he was fuming in anger.He thought about continuing to drive even though the puppy was now sitting right in front of his car.But killing an innocent puppy somehow didn't settle into the mafia leader's brain.Killing people mercilessly doesn't bother him a bit but Kim Taehyung is not someone who'll kill those who are innocent.At least he tries not to do that....as much as possible.

"Fuck this shit" cursing under his breath, Taehyung parked the car in the middle of the road as if he won it and got out.He glared at the puppy who looked back at him, tilting his head a bit.Taehyung rolled his eyes and walked towards the dog with a scary expression lacing his sharp features.The dog, unlike the humans, didn't even get scared.Instead, it wiggled his tail while looking at Taehyung with its sparkling eyes.

Taehyung rolled his eyes for the n-th time when he saw the dog trying to jump on him.He didn't even know when he squatted down in front of the small, furry animal.Taehyung unknowingly stretched his right hand out to reach out for the dog when it ran away.An irritated tsk left Taehyung's mouth as he stood up abruptly.

What was he doing?He got out of his car just because of a fucking puppy?If his men were there, they might have gotten cardiac arrest.Well, Taehyung stopped his guards from following him everytime as he himself is more than capable of fighting a bunch of people at once.

Everyone knows him as Kim V except for his minions.Those who got to know about him either are dead or are working for him.Moreover, no-one is allowed to call him by his real name.If someone dares to do it, it'll be the end of them.Common people don't even know how the mafia leader looks like but his name is enough to scare everyone away.No-one ever dared to get on his way, well, the one's who had death wish did.And Kim Taehyung didn't disappoint them.He gave them the death they were looking for in most unexpected and painful ways.

Taehyung looked back to see traffic forming behind his car.With a smug look he entered his car and started the engine.When he was about to drive away, he saw the same puppy.This time it was standing in front of a boy, a boy that took Taehyung's breath away at the very first sight.The street light gave away a very mesmerising view of the boy's beautiful features, his clothes showed the perfect curves of his body.His big starry eyes, button nose, pink lips and chubby cheeks....everything attracted Taehyung like magnet.He gaped at the sight of the boy interacting with the puppy.And then it happened....the boy smiled....Taehyung never knew someone's smile would affect him like that, he never knew his heartbeat can rise just by seeing someone happy.

He saw the boy taking the puppy with him.Taehyung looked at his fading back with longing and so many other emotions.His palms tightened around the steering wheel, seeing just a mere puppy making the boy that happy, his jaw clenched remembering how the puppy snuggled into the boy's chest.

"MINE" Taehyung's deep, raspy voice came out automatically while looking at the boy's back.His mind was clouded with the boy.All he knew at that moment was he wanted him....at any cost.

It's been a month since Jungkook took the puppy home.His parents were surprised to see the sudden family member but nonetheless they welcomed the puppy with open arms.Jungkook was the one who came up with the name Yeontan for the puppy.In the span of one month, Jungkook has grown a really strong bond with Yeontan.The dog would eat only if Jungkook feeds him.Jungkook was really happy to have the little companion with him.He would go to the college and play with Yeontan after coming back home.He tries not to be late just to see the puppy after a long day.It was refreshing in a different way!
