"Actually that day, when we went to meet your parents, Yoongi was there.He came to meet you but unexpectedly heard our conversation.After that, he followed me to my place.Even though I was aware of him following me, I let it be because I knew what he means to you.Later, he told me that he got to know everything about me and wanted to talk about something important."
Flashback :
"Taehyung, I'm here as Jungkook's elder brother.I mean no harm.I just want to talk." Yoongi spoke up when he saw how Taehyung was looking at him in suspicion.To Yoongi's relief, after looking at his facial expression for some time, Taehyung finally nodded his head.
"It will take some time." Yoongi said when he realised that Taehyung was waiting for him to say for what he went there.
"Okay.Let's talk inside the house then." Taehyung said after contemplating his decision.He then opened the door of his house for Yoongi to enter.
Once they got seated on the couch, Yoongi cleared his throat, feeling nervous all of a sudden.He was there to tell Taehyung who he was and for which mission he has been assigned to since months.
"I'm not sure if Jungkook has ever told you or not but I am the new commissioner of police." Yoongi said, not wanting to beat around the bush.He was a straight forward person after all.
Even though it was a new information for Taehyung, he didn't react.He wondered how his men couldn't find this about Yoongi earlier but he let it slide for the time being.He looked at Yoongi with dark eyes, his whole aura screaming "don't test my patience and go ahead".
Yoongi, who was aware of what Taehyung was capable of doing didn't even flinch.He was pretty sure that Taehyung wouldn't do anything to him.If he does so, it could hurt Jungkook indirectly and Yoongi knew that Taehyung actually loved Jungkook.
"I've been looking for you, I mean, Kim V for months.I have investigated about you a lot and I'm aware of the fact that you've never hurt any innocent till now.Even though the higher authority knows about it, they want you gone.They want Kim V gone.They have told us to shoot you on sight." Yoongi sighed, shaking his head at how the higher authority itself started working for high profile people these days.They would help even the wrong ones if they have power and they'll get rid of those who broke some laws just to give others the justice they didn't give them.
"So?" Taehyung raised one of his eyebrows in a cocky manner as he gave Yoongi a challenging look.It was as if Yoongi's words didn't even affect him the slightest.He looked unbothered.
"Before, I was hesitant of what they decided for you but now that I know who you are and also what you are to Kookie, I know what I should do.For the first time after I joined the police, I want to listen to my heart instead of following the law and order blindly.And my heart wants you to live." Yoongi looked at Taehyung right in his eyes as he spoke the last sentence.He wanted the other to see that he meant each and every word he just said.
"First of all, since you've already heard everything we talked about with Jungkook's parents, you must know that I have my own reasons to not believe a police officer.Secondly, I'm pretty much capable of saving myself from whoever comes my way.I can get rid of them without anyone's help.So what's the point of you being here to have a talk with me?" Taehyung said, not even wanting to continue the conversation.
People have been chasing him since forever and he was able to survive every time, that too without getting any help from anyone.There were many who tried to make him vanish from the world, there were many to tried to drag him down but he ain't some weakling who would just stand and see others going against him.He knew what his capabilities were and he knew how to use them even in a much better way.
"I know what you can do and I'm not here to promise something like, I want to give you protection.Because I know that you can do it in a better way.Also, I've already told you that I'm here as Min Yoongi who is Jungkook's elder brother.I didn't come here as officer Min.If it was the case, we wouldn't be sitting in your living room without shredding a single drop of blood.The only thing I want is the government to declare Kim V dead so that no-one from that side can come after you ever again.That way, I can be assured that my brother's happiness which he finds in you, will be alive for a long time.My only intention is to see him happy and it'll happen only if the government backs away from your case.They have power.Even though you're strong enough to go through everything alone, I fear, someday my brother will become the pawn of their dirty hands.Please cooperate with me, Taehyung.I want you free.Hell, I need to free you from those risks." Yoongi voiced out everything which was going on inside his brain since he came to know about Taehyung and this time, he really hoped for Taehyung to listen to him.
"You can take time to think about it.Just know that my only intention is to remove the greatest barrier which stops you from living a comperatively carefree life.Even though you don't need to do it at this moment, I think you'll need it someday in future.So why not going for it when I can shape your death when you won't be dead." He continued, his face showing how serious he was about the matter.
Taehyung couldn't help but feel impressed by the man's thinking process.Yoongi was indeed a wise man.Everything he said made sense.Yes, he was the king of the mafia world but it didn't mean, he didn't find the government interrupting his work problematic.Yoongi's plan seemed interesting.
"What about Jungkook?" The first question Taehyung asked after listening to everything made Yoongi's face soften.Now he was even sure that Jungkook was the most prioritized one in Taehyung's life.
"Whatever we plan, we have to keep it away from everyone, including Kookie.Even though I haven't come up with any plan yet, I can tell that things won't be easy.It'll be risky and Kookie will be scared the whole time if he comes to know about the government notice for you and all.So let's keep it a secret for now." Yoongi pursed his lips as he looked at Taehyung with sad eyes.
Taehyung nodded his head, deciding to trust Jungkook's Yoongi hyung for the time being.What can go wrong anyways?In his whole life, he has played with his life numerous times.So let it happen one more time if it assures him a future with Jungkook where he won't have to worry every minute, thinking what would Jungkook do if something happens to him.
And that's how he agreed to Yoongi's plan to kill Kim V but at the same time, give rebirth to Kim Taehyung, the one who has been lost since years.
"So, you deliberately kept me in the dark, knowing how painful it could be for me." Tears rolled down Jungkook's cheeks as Taehyung stopped talking for a moment.
"Kook, we ju-"
"Stop this bullshit.You could've informed me about your plan but you didn't.You didn't trust me enough to do that.I have been going crazy for the last few weeks, thinking...." Jungkook broke down, getting away from Taehyung's lap harshly.He felt betrayed.He felt like he was being played all the while.
What did they think of him?
"Kook, there's more to it." Taehyung panicked when he saw how angry Jungkook looked.He got out of the bed and pulled Jungkook to him as the boy was about to leave the room.
"Leave me, Tae." Jungkook trashed in Taehyung's hold.He didn't want to be near the elder at that moment.His anger could make him do things he would regret later.So it was better to go away for the time being.
"Jungkook, I..."
"You said, you agreed to kill Kim V.But you know what, he never hurt me, he never forced me either.Kim V never forced me for anything and you! You are exactly doing that right now.You are forcefully keeping me here when all I want is to leave." Jungkook yelled, pushing Taehyung away but regretted immediately.His lips wobbled as he looked up at Taehyung who turned pale after hearing him.
He shouldn't have said that!
