Chapter - 18

One year later -

A smile played on Jungkook's lips as he turned off the gas.Finally he was done preparing breakfast.His smiled widened when he felt a pair of strong, veiny arms holding his waist from his backside.

"Tae...." Jungkook bit his lower lip harshly when he felt one of those arms leaving his waist just to travel its palm down his exposed thighs.

Well, he was wearing only a shirt.Taehyung's shirt to be specific.After spending one more night, basking in the elder's love, there he is - preparing their breakfast.

During the past one year, so many things between them have changed.Jungkook got to know Kim Taehyung as if he was an open book while at the same time, he learnt to accept the elder the way he is.He learnt to accept Kim V and his works.

He also came to know the boy who once tried to force him was killed by Taehyung himself.It shocked him.He also felt terrible, knowing he was the reason behind it.Yes, he wanted the male to get punished by the law but he couldn't really accept that he was killed brutally just because he picked up on him.

Later, with time, he accepted the fact that the boy was dead because he deserved it.Taehyung gave him enough proofs to see how many people have suffered because of that boy but being from a powerful family background helped him to escape from the police every time.Jungkook was just one of those victims he targeted.

For the first few months, he still couldn't get over the fact that Taehyung could kill someone easily but with time, he got to know that Taehyung doesn't even lay a finger on the innocents.He also came to know that Taehyung mainly punishes those who use their power to stay away from the police even after doing so many wrong things.

The elder does this so that no one can destroy someone's life like Lee did to his family and him!

Jungkook started understanding it once he started spending more time with Taehyung.He was aware of the elder male's purpose behind being a mafia leader as well..

Taehyung lost his everything because of Lee and now that he was capable enough, he'd find Lee and destroy him little by little.Jungkook still didn't like the things which lead people to violence but seeing Taehyung being miserable, knowing how much he went through because of that person who was never punished by the law, he didn't forbid Taehyung from doing what he wants.He couldn't...

He knew that people like Lee didn't deserve to be a part of the beautiful world.He also knew that the law, the police, nothing can give that cunning man the punishment he deserves without having any solid proofs against him.Jungkook has seen the mark on Taehyung's chest, the mark which carries the memories of the most dreadful day of Taehyung's life.

Jungkook couldn't help but shiver at the thought of the bullet which pierced through Taehyung's chest.What if the bullet entered Taehyung's heart just like they wanted that day?The elder would have died too, just like his other family members.But he survived.He survived even after going through so much at such a young age.He faced everything the world threw at him all alone and that's what makes Jungkook love Taehyung more!

Yes, Jungkook loves Taehyung.He loves him beyond his imagination!

He wasn't sure of his feelings when he decided to stay beside Taehyung but with time, he realised that what he felt for Taehyung was not just empathy and care.It was not a mere friendship as well.He realised that he wants Taehyung, he wants him all to himself.He wants Taehyung to smile again.He wants the elder to live like a normal person again.He wants the elder to feel loved, he wants him to feel his love!

And that's why he allowed Taehyung to have him the way he has never let anyone before.He let Taehyung have him whenever and however he wanted.

He loves it when Taehyung calls him 'mine', he loves how Taehyung kisses him breathless, he loves how Taehyung's hands and mouth roams around his body, he loves how Taehyung knows his body more than he himself does, he loves how Taehyung makes love to him every chance he gets....He loves everything the elder does to him...

"N-not now" Jungkook mumbled, tilting his head towards the side as he felt Taehyung sucking on the skin of his neck.

"Hmm.." Taehyung hummed, pulling away but he still kept backhugging Jungkook as he arranged their foods in two plates.

"Are you still hurt?" Taehyung asked all of a sudden, making Jungkook flush.He understood that the elder was talking about their last night activities.

Actually, Taehyung likes it rough and he often loses control while making love to Jungkook.The younger obviously loves every bit of it but the next morning, he definitely feels the pain of their intense love.He's quite used to it by now but still Taehyung keeps asking him if he was alright.It's Taehyung's way to apologize for going hard on him which he finds really endearing.

"No, the pain is gone now." Jungkook replied, a smile forming on his face when he recieved a cheek kiss in response.

"Kookie, when will you let us meet Taehyung?"

Jungkook chocked on the food he was chewing when his mother asked the question he feared the most again.

The family of the three were having their dinner while having their usual talks.But Mrs. Jeon suddenly asked the question to Jungkook.Well, it's been four months since Jungkook told them about him dating someone named Kim Taehyung.It was a shocking news for both his parents.

Mr. Jeon asked him to be careful while Mrs. Jeon wanted to meet whom their son was dating.Impressing Jungkook was not anyone's cup of tea.That's why the boy never dated anyone before.She was curious to know who Taehyung is and how he managed to make their son fell for him.They were sure of one thing though.They knew for a fact that Jungkook was sensible enough to choose someone with a good heart for him.

"Eomma...H-he's kin....."

"Kinda busy?" Mrs. Jeon asked, cutting their stuttering son in the middle.She pursed her lips in a thin line when Jungkook nodded his head vigorously, agreeing with her.

"Kookie, you know that you are a very bad liar right?" She asked again to which the boy just sighed while looking at his lap.

"Honey, let's give him some ti-"

"How much?" Mrs. Jeon looked at her husband when he was about to take Jungkook's side.The man remained silent after that, knowing his stubborn wife wouldn't calm down until she meets Taehyung in person.It wasn't like he didn't want to meet Taehyung anyways...

"I-I'll talk to h-him about i-it." Jungkook stuttered, gulping the lump forming inside his throat.

Even though he informed his parents about him being with Taehyung, he never talked to them about the elder male.He told them about his love life because as his parents, they deserved to know it.

But he was afraid.He was afraid of what may happen after his parents come to know about Taehyung's life, especially Taehyung being Kim V who rules the mafia world.He was sure that his parents wouldn't approve his relationship with Taehyung if that happens.

He can't go against his parents who have raised him with so much love.He can't think of leaving Taehyung as well.Hell, he can't even think of living without Taehyung.Moreover, Taehyung has only him.The elder would never let him go.Neither will Jungkook!

"Ok then.Tell him to visit us this week then." Mrs. Jeon smiled lovingly at her son while Mr. Jeon just shook his head at the lady's excited look.

They were happy that they would meet Taehyung, the man who stole their son's heart soon.They would definitely look forward to that day.The elder Jeon couple continued their dinner, smiling to themselves....Little did they know how their son was shaking while thinking of the most probable scenerios that would occur in near future.

How will I tell Taehyung about this.....

I skipped one year because I wanted to show some progress in Taekook's relationship.Also, any normal person would take that much time to understand their mafia partner.Here, Taehyung was already in love.So I thought, I'd give Jungkook some time to fell for him even harder...
Moreover, the time skip was necessary for the upcoming angst.
