Jungkook was on his way back home from his college. It was his graduation day, a day he was eagerly waiting for. After taking his degree certificate, he decided to go back home instead of attending the after party with his friends. He didn't feel like it.

Who's he kidding?

He doesn't feel like doing anything these days.

Even after putting his all his efforts to forget Taehyung and whatever he said that day, Jungkook was failing measurably. It's been six months but to him, it felt like only 24 hours.Every word that left Taehyung's mouth still rings in his ears af if happened just yesterday!

When he came back home all alone that evening, fortunately his parents were  outside. And that was the cue for him to break down.He cried his heart out for hours. He didn't even know why he was feeling so terrible.

Was it because he has been going to V's place all the time?

Was it because he'll never get to see Yeontan again?

Was it because Taehyung is V?

Or was it because he had to leave against his heart's will?

For the next few days, Jungkook kept crying silently. He just wanted the nightmare to end.Out of everyone, was it necessary for Taehyung to be the one everyone's feared of?Jungkook was in denial. He couldn't just accept that Taehyung can be heartless enough to kill someone...Let alone deal with an entire mafia.

Even though he was scared, the reality only provoked him to know more about V but the only questions which was continued bugging him almost all the time were....

How and why did Taehyung become V?

What made him that merciless!

"Baby?"

Jungkook got startled by the deep, manly voice. He was so into his thoughts that he totally forgot about him having company. He sat straightly and tried to put on a smile to not let the other know about his distorted thoughts.

"What happened?" The man asked again, turning his head towards the road in front of them again.

"Noth-"

"You know you can't lie to me right? You are acting so distant for the whole day.Let it all out yeah?" He stopped Jungkook in the middle, not wanting to go for any lie.

"Hyung, what will you do if your brain and heart stops cooperating?" Jungkook asked, fidgeting with his fingers. He looked at the male who was driving him towards his home at the moment.

"Bunny, our hearts can fool the life out of us at times. So I choose brain. It helps to take rational decisions." Came the answer to which Jungkook shook his head, smiling a little.

"Of course, you would say that.I should've known better." Jungkook giggled, making the other smile at him fondly.

"Yes, you should know that. How can the commissioner of police himself tell you not to choose brain huh?" The man raised one of his eyebrows in a cocky manner, making Jungkook fall into a fit of laughter this time.

"But I remember someone saying that they're still working as an undercover which means not many people know which position you are in." Jungkook retorted, making the other scoff, shaking his head because the boy literally made his mouth shut.

"To be honest, I'm happy that now you're here, hyung." Jungkook said, smiling brightly. All the thoughts of Taehyung left him alone for the time being which he was grateful for!

"How can I not come to my baby's graduation ceremony?I had to be here." The man said seriously this time.He meant every word he said!

"I missed you so much hyung." Jungkook said, looking at the male with sad eyes.

"I missed you too, bub.Now now...Are you hungry?" The elder asked, trying to cheer the boy up for the time being. He parked his car in front of a huge Cafe when the younger nodded his head in a 'yes'.At least, Jungkook said yes for food!

Yoongi can never look at Jungkook being so gloomy and he hated the fact that the boy isn't telling him what was bothering him like he used to do before. The elder is really fond of him ever since his toddler self held a baby Jungkook in his arms for the first time.Even though they are cousins, Yoongi feels like Jungkook is his own sibling. They have been always that close as well. But it seemed like the younger boy became reserved within the months he couldn't visit him.

What the hell did happen in the span of these months!

Jungkook was back home and Yoongi had to leave for some work.He strode towards his bedroom, wanting to freshen up.His parents were at work who somehow managed to be there for him at the graduation ceremony. But they were gone after that since Yoongi came and reassured them, saying he'd take care of the younger for the rest of the day.

Where was the lie though?

Yoongi did spend a lot of Time with Jungkook. After eating at the restaurant, they went to the park they used to visit every now and then. The elder's company made Jungkook feel better than he was doing since the last six months and now that Jungkook is alone, those thoughts....or I say, Taehyung's thoughts again started clouding his mind.

After freshening up and wearing a pair of comfortable clothes, Jungkook decided to just lay down but as if on cue, the doorbell rang.He walked out of his room to check who it was but frowned when there was no-one at the door.He looked here and there and finally his eyes rested on a flower bouquet near the door.

Gulping hard, he took the flowers with shaky hands. He checked if there was any note or greetings which could explain who sent it but there was none.He couldn't stop his mind from drifting towards a certain man as he took in the beauty of the red, fresh roses.

The flowers oddly reminded him of Taehyung....

Trying not to think about the elder sending the flowers, he walked inside the house again. As soon as he reached his room, he took the flowers out, wanting to put them in the beautiful vase he barely uses.He then put some water in the vase, wanting to keep the flowers fresh for as long as possible.

It was when he was about to walk towards his bed, he spotted a small card on the floor. It probably fell from the bouquet when he took the flowers out.Sighing heavily, he bent down and took the card which read -

"Congratulations on graduating.Keep blooming like those roses even when there are thorns everywhere beside it, even in its own plants."

Jungkook didn't even realise when a teardrop left his eye.He checked the backside of the card, in case it was anyone else but there was no name written anywhere on the card.It made him feel even more sure of who could've sent the graduation present to him.

The words written in the card were really meaningful for Jungkook.Being sure that only Taehyung can write something like this to him, his heart started drumming inside his chest crazily. He was feeling overwhelmed with emotions just by thinking that Taehyung remembered to wish him on this specific day.

He felt special!

Taking a deep breath, Jungkook knew what he had to do next.Staying inside his home and thinking about Taehyung all the time will do nothing. He has to do something about it and now he knows what to do....

He's going to meet the elder again.

What do you think? Is Jungkook right?Should he meet Taehyung after knowing that he is KIM V?
