"Oh...It's Chim.I-I mean Jimin, Park Jimin." Taehyung laughed nervously when he saw Jungkook raising his eyebrows the moment he voiced out the word 'Chim'.
"I see.May I know who Chim is to you?" Jungkook asked, giving Taehyung a sweet smile as he looked at the elder with wide, bambi eyes filled with innocence.
"Of course.But can we sit and then talk?" Taehyung asked, trying not to smile.He then took the younger by holding his wrist to the bed again.He sat down and pulled the frowning male towards him, making him sit on his lap sidewise.All the while he pretended that he didn't see Jungkook's glares and eye rolls at him.
"So?" Jungkook mumbled, looking at Taehyung from the corner of his eyes as he got comfortable on his lap.
"Actually, I met Chim through Yoongi hyung and I can't be more thankful to have him back in my life." A smile played with Taehyung's plump lips as he talked while Jungkook's face became gloomy, noting the fondness in Taehyung's expressions for Jimin.
He was too busy getting upset to notice that Taehyung said something like 'have him back' earlier.He squimed in his place, suddenly not feeling like hearing about Jimin anymore.He feared that he wouldn't like it.
"Chim is the only family member in my life now." Taehyung continued and this time Jungkook felt his heart breaking into pieces.His eyes got filled with tears, not being able to see his boyfriend being fond for someone who is not him.
Wasn't he the only family to Taehyung?
"You know, I never knew I would meet him again.Hell, I couldn't even think of it in my wildest dreams.But he did it.He found me.He found his brother." Taehyung smiled as he looked at Jungkook with sparkling eyes but his smile dropped when he saw how broke Jungkook was looking at the moment.
"B-brother?" Jungkook sniffled as he looked at Taehyung with his teary eyes and wobbling lips.
Well, he didn't see it coming!
"Yes, he is my uncle's, I mean, my mother's elder brother's only son." Taehyung answered, running his nose over the younger's puffed out cheeks.The boy looked way too pretty as he looked at him with his bambi eyes.
"Why are you crying hmm?" Taehyung asked, grazing the boy's wobbly lips with his softly.
"I-I thought he stole my place in your heart." Jungkook shook his head, feeling like a fool.He shouldn't have assumed things and make the situation harder for himself.
"W-what?NOOO..." Taehyung couldn't help but laugh at the younger's statement.He knew that Jungkook was jealous but he couldn't even imagine that Jungkook would assume such a thing!
"When Yoongi came to meet me for the second time, he let me know that he went through all the files related to me.He found about Jimin in one of those files.He wrote an FIR for my missing even after everyone considered me gone.Actually, Jimin and I, both are of the same age.He's almost two and a half months older to me but we were almost inseparable when we were kids.The family members used to call us 'soulmates' because of that.Our connection broke to some extent when I was sent to my apartment and he started studying abroad.He was still abroad when everything happened.Everyone believed it when the government declared me dead but looks like, Jimin was adamant on not accepting it.He started searching for me on his own but he still visited the police station every once in a while, to know if they found some hints." Taehyung said, looking at Jungkook only to see him listening to everything intently.
"When I came to know about Chim, I didn't know how to react but I wanted to meet him.So I asked Yoongi for help.He did help me.He contacted Chim and asked him to meet to talk something about his long lost cousin.Jimin came running the very next day and then finally I was able to meet him.You know, he was hella shocked to know that I was the Kim V everyone talks about but then he was smiling big, saying he was proud of me." Taehyung spoke, shaking his head at how dramatic Jimin can be.
"I'm glad that you met him again." Jungkook said, a genuine smile lighting up his features.He loved how happy Taehyung looked.The man deserved it and Jungkook can't ask for more!
"Chim was against our plan too but surprisingly enough, he believed in Yoongi.He was the one who helped me to get out of the river that day and then took me to his place.I stayed till I healed and then left for here afterwards.I wanted to start my life with you anew.So I was trying to bring you here as well.When you didn't pick up all our calls, we decided to get help from your parents.It worked.You are finally here now." Taehyung said, stroking Jungkook's cheeks in a soothing manner.
"So, what's your plan now?" Jungkook asked after thinking about the situation for some time.If Taehyung stops being Kim V, then what?
"Chim has been handling both their and our companies since the last few years.He told me that the board members are pressuring him to merge the two companies to make it a bit easier but he is stubborn on not doing that.According to him, I would be back one day and only I deserve to be the CEO of our company." Taehyung sighed, putting his head on Jungkook's chest.The younger immediately hugged his shoulders and started massaging his scalp to make him relaxed.
"I think so too but I believe, your decision will be correct.I'll be by your side no matter whatever you decide to do." Jungkook said, using a soft tone.
Now that he knows who Jimin is and how much the elder cares for Taehyung, he started developing a sense of gratitude and respect for him.He was just glad that Jimin didn't give up on Taehyung like others did.
"I didn't think it was possible but you make me fall for you even harder every passing day." Taehyung couldn't help but chuckle at the younger.
He was right when he thought that Jungkook was the only light to his dark life.The life he was living has completely changed since Jungkook came into it.Jungkook made him feel alive, the boy made him feel loved and most importantly, Jungkook helped him to see his ownself differently.
Before, Taehyung hated how he was living a life which could disappoint his late parents and the other family members.He felt disgusted with himself most of the times.The only purpose which made him go on with his work was to take revenge for his family.He even thought that his life wouldn't have any meaning once he would be done with his revenge but look how things have changed....
He met Jungkook.He chased the boy everywhere just to plan how to make him completely his.For the first time in his life, he was so ready to kill anyone and everyone who comes his way of getting the younger.It was crazy but it was worth it.Jungkook is the only one who loved him even when he couldn't love himself.The boy has given him all the affection he craved for.Jungkook always acted as if he was someone precious to him and Taehyung is glad to have him in his life.In fact, he feels proud that someone as perfect as Jungkook belongs to him and only him!
"Taehyung, I see, you have become cheesy within the span of just one month." Jungkook shook his head his disappointment but the pink hue in his cheeks said otherwise!
"Perks of living with Park Jimin for the whole time." Taehyung replied almost immediately.He couldn't help but smile, seeing Jungkook's shy expression but his smile turned into a confused one when Jungkook looked at him with wide, horrified eyes all of a sudden.
"What happened?" He asked, not knowing exactly what the younger was thinking at the moment.
"I literally hit Jimin hyung with the vase earlier.Can you take me to him?I want to check up on him and also, I have to apologize for doing that." Jungkook said, biting his lower lip in nervousness.
Taehyung's mouth formed an 'o' when Jungkook said those words.He almost forgot that his lover literally cracked his soulmate's forehead earlier.
Was he doing fine now?
"Hyung, let's go?" Jungkook spoke up yet again when he saw Taehyung staring at him without saying anything.
"Y-yeah...let's go." Taehyung nodded his head, finally standing up to go and check how Jimin was doing.He couldn't believe that he almost forgot about the elder when he was busy convincing Jungkook to listen to him.
Seems like, it will be long day !
