Chapter - 22

A satisfied smile crept upon Jungkook's facial features as he looked at himself in the mirror.He wanted to look good for Taehyung and he was positive that he was successful in dolling himself up for the elder male.

His smile only widened when he saw Taehyung coming out of the bathroom, wearing only a towel around his hip bones.The elder walked towards him straight and wrapped his strong, veiny arms around his waist.

"You look too beautiful to be true." Taehyung whispered using his morning, husky tone which made a shiver ran down Jungkook's spine.Heat spreaded up his cheeks when Taehyung placed soft kisses on his neck which was decorated by love bites from the previous night.

"Y-you should get ready too." Jungkook said after some time.He closed his eyes when Taehyung tilted his head towards the side and kissed his lips instead of going to get ready.

"I'll be back soon." Taehyung whispered to the younger before finally going towards his closet.It didn't take much time for him to choose his clothes.

Almost all his clothes were black in coulour.But this time, Taehyung wore a white shirt which was a gift from Jungkook.He wore black trousers to match with the shirt and then combed his hair just to mess them up using his fingers later.He looked at his image in the mirror which looked quite different than how he usually looks like.

He wasn't looking like Kim V.

Instead, he looked so much like Taehyung...Kim Taehyung !

Taehyung, with a blank face and a pair of emotionless eyes, stared at his own mirror image for some time before his lips curved a bit upwards.He liked this look on him.It was like a miracle to see his previous self after so long.He wished he could turn back time and make everything right so that he wouldn't be reborn as Kim V, a man who doesn't really deserve someone pure like Jungkook.

His trance broke when he saw the door of the closet opening and then Jungkook peeking inside.His eyes automatically became alive with so much emotions in them when the younger passed him a toothy grin.He stood there until the younger walked and stood in front of him.

"You are the most handsome man I have ever seen.How come you look this good even while just breathing?" A pout adorned Jungkook's lips when he spoke the last sentence.He kept staring at the elder with heart eyes though.

"So you mean I won't look good once I stop breathing?" Taehyung replied, raising one of his eyebrows at the younger who frowned.Taehyung immediately understood that Jungkook didn't like his supposed to be cocky reply.

"Let's get going now.We will have our brunch outside." Taehyung said yet again, trying to distract the younger from his previous sentence.He didn't wait for Jungkook's reply and walked forward, holding the boy's hand with his.

There's a long day waiting for them....

Taehyung and Jungkook first went to a restaurant and had their brunch, having some chit-chats.Jungkook loved how carefree Taehyung looked the whole time.It felt like the elder's usual dark aura was gone within just one night.He didn't look like someone who was in charge of the underground world.In other words, he looked quite relaxed.Jungkook couldn't help but smile, yearning to see the elder like that more often in the future.

"Where are we going now?" Jungkook asked Taehyung as soon as they got inside the car.

"It's a surprise." Taehyung smiled, already starting to drive towards the destination he wanted to take Jungkook to.

During the period they're together, they never got to go on dates like this.So Taehyung wanted to gift Jungkook at least one day full of memories.Jungkook has always loved him the way he is.The younger even accepted Kim V.So Taehyung wanted to show him how Kim Taehyung would act around Jungkook.How Kim Taehyung would treat him.How normal their life would be!
