Chapter - 30

"Kook, please!" A drop of lone tear fell from Taehyung's eyes as the pain in his chest increased by each passing second.

He knew that Jungkook didn't mean what he said.The boy was just disappointed with him.It was his anger which let those venomous words out of his mouth.But the fact that he was the reason behind Jungkook's sadness hurt him.This is what he feared when he agreed to Yoongi but then again, he was sure that Jungkook would never-

"Jungkook, give me a ch-" Taehyung's eyes widened when he saw Jungkook giving him a blank look before opening the door.He hurriedly went to the younger and stopped him once again from going out of the room.He couldn't just let him go without telling him the whole truth.

"Kim fucking Taehyung, leave my hand." Jungkook growled, looking at Taehyung angrily.Never in his life has he felt so angry before.He wanted to go away from there before he says more hurtful things to the elder.

Taehyung was stunned to see Jungkook's reaction.The boy he left almost a month ago was the sweetest of all, he would always listen to Taehyung patiently. But now that he's ready to go away, Taehyung can't bear that.He has to stop him.

Jungkook can't go away from him.He would never let that happen!

"Remember, I told you that I will never let you go even when you want to leave.And you know very well that I'm a man of words." The elder spoke as his grip tightened on Jungkook's wrist.

"You told me that you'd never leave me.You didn't keep those words though." Jungkook gave the elder a pained smile, looking at him in his eyes.

"I didn't leave you.I would never.I love you too much to stay away from you.But tell me, if you were aware of the plan will you allow me to risk my life to get away from them?" Taehyung said, slowly erasing the distance between their bodies.He slid his arms around Jungkook's waist, wanting to keep him as close to him as possible.

"W-what do you mean?Wasn't it all like some drama?Y-you didn't actually get hurt r-right?" Jungkook gulped, not knowing where their talk would be leading them to.

Taehyung looked at Jungkook's face for a while before slipping his arms away from his waist.He then started unbuttoned his shirt while looking at Jungkook directly.He saw how the boy's eyes followed his hand movements till he was done undoing the shirt.He saw how the boy's eyes were wide with fear as he pulled the shirt off completely, giving him the view of his upper body.

"D-didn't you say t-that you p-planned it all? T-then how?" Jungkook gasped, biting his lip to not let out a cry.

He stared at the left side of Taehyung's chest which had two marks, just above where the man's heart lies.One wound looked old.Jungkook was familiar with it.He has seen it everytime Taehyung was shirtless in front of him.But the other wound was new and it horrified Jungkook.

"After that day, Yoongi met me few more times.To fool the police, he had to shoot me for real.You might already know that the bullets used by the police during an encounter is counted.Since it was one of the biggest cases of the country, things were even more strict.So Yoongi had to fire his gun at me, to show everyone who accompanied him that he ended Kim V's life.Only Seokjin, whom I met through Yoongi knew about the plan as he had to stop you from saving me on that particular moment.I would tell you about the plan even before we executed it but the three of us had the same thing in mind.You wouldn't accept the fact that Yoongi would shoot me for real.That's the only reason we hid it from you." Taehyung explained.

Jungkook opened and then closed his mouth without saying anything.He was feeling scared and relieved at the same time.But his anger didn't go down when he thought that Taehyung actually risked his life to secure a future with him.
