Chapter - 5

Taehyung was sitting on the couch as he watched Yeontan eating his food with a bored look.But he was not annoyed with the puppy anymore.It's been two weeks since Jungkook visited his farmhouse and just like, Taehyung said to him, he fed Yeontan well.

It was the puppy who always sticked to him.It follows him everywhere except the bathroom.At first, Taehyung was irritated but after few days, he got used to it.He realized one thing actually.No matter what, Yeontan will not leave him like others!

Just when Taehyung was about to get up, he heard the doorbell ringing.It was almost 7 in the evening.He frowned.No-one visits him at this hour right?Taehyung slowly went to his bedroom and took his gun.He hid it in the belt of his trousers and pulled his T-shirt down to hide it completely before going to open the door.

What Taehyung didn't expect was to see a nervous looking Jungkook when he opened the door.The anxiety inside him immediately died down as he looked at the boy in front of him.He opened the door widely to let the boy come in who smiled a tight lipped smile at him before entering.

The first thing Jungkook did was to pick up the excited Yeontan who ran to him, wiggling his tail.Just like the last time, Yeontan licked Jungkook's face to show his affection who in return, rubbed his furs lovingly.

Taehyung who was observing everything quitely frowned.No, he wasn't jealous of Jungkook paying attention to Yeontan.In fact, it surprisingly didn't bother him this time.What he didn't like was the gloomy look on Jungkook's face.

In these two weeks, Taehyung was too busy in his works that he couldn't keep a close eye on Jungkook all the time.Yes, he secretly went to see the boy few times but it was not like before.Now, Taehyung was wondering if something happened to Jungkook!

"What happened to you?" Jungkook flinched at Taehyung's sudden question.The boy looked at Taehyung with wide eyes and gulped, shaking his head afterwards.

"N-nothing." He stuttered...

Before Taehyung could ask any more questions, Jungkook moved towards the couch and sat down, still holding Yeontan carefully.

Taehyung stared at the boy for some more time when he saw something.His eyes twitched as palm curled themselves into fists, making the knuckles white.He marched towards the boy and grabbed the wrist of the boy's right hand.A hiss left Jungkook's mouth at the sudden touch.

"Who did this?" Taehyung asked, his face and voice became void of any emotions.

Jungkook gulped hard.He didn't know why his eyes teared up at the question.The boy looked everywhere except Taehyung's direction mumbling a small 'please leave'.

Taehyung was pissed off at this point.There was clearly redness around Jungkook's wrist, indicating someone held his hand way too tightly.Taehyung hated the mark, Taehyung hated the person who did that.The thought of someone hurting Jungkook made him feel things he has never felt before.

"Who. Did. This.?" Taehyung asked one more time.This time his voice became more deeper and his eyes darkened.

Jungkook looked at Taehyung with pleading eyes.He didn't know why Taehyung was doing that to him.His day was pretty bad already.He didn't want to remember the things that were bothering him again.He wanted space.That's why he came to see Yeontan but now that he thinks of it, it wasn't the best idea.

"Jungkook" Taehyung looked at the boy with something in his eyes.His voice was unbelievably deep yet soft this time.

And the dam of Jungkook's eyes broke.He bit his lips to prevent himself but his tears didn't stop.He didn't know why, he couldn't stop himself from saying everything after looking at Taehyung's eyes.
