One Year Ago

(Y/N) placed her hand on the glowing symbol inside the cave, taking a step back as the glow of the symbol faded and the sound of stone scraping on stone echoed while the stone wall moved upward. What lay before her looked like a room with a round stone table in the center. A glowing blue metallic orb floating in the middle of the table as it lit up the entire room in a blue glow. She walked into the room, walking up towards the only light source.

She looked around, seeing multiple paths leading to different places, above them looked like Atlantic writing she had seen before in her father's country. It was as if each passage was labeled, most likely so others would get confused or lost seeing there were at least seven passages in the one room.

(Y/N) walked up to one, looking into it to see if there was anything of interest. "Oh hello." A voice spoke behind her, causing her to whirl around stumbling back slightly as she did so. Stand before her was a person wearing armor you would see during Ancient Greece, their skin red just like Reich's, their hair was tied up in a sort of fancy bun as some strands of hair hung loosely, her eyes were the same shade of red as my own, and on her face was the same symbol as it was on the front of the cave, a trident and scythe making an X shape while a lightning bolt went right through the middle. "Oh I'm sorry did I startle you?" Her voice was warm and kind as a smile spread across her features.

(Y/N) blinked at the woman standing in front of her in confusion, was she a dead country of Atlantis? "My name is Olympus." She introduced herself holding out her hand as I stared at her in awe, thinking back to the Ancient Greek myths.

"(Y/N)." I introduced myself by taking her hand and shaking it. They pulled their hands apart after a few seconds.

"You know it's quite rare to get visitors here." Olympus stated as she placed a hand on her hip. "Where did you come from sweety?" She questioned with a smile as interest sparked in her gaze.

"Oh um ... I guess Atlantis." (Y/N) answered with a shrug, not noticing the excitement sparking in the country's gaze as a smirk formed across his lips.

"Oh! I see, has my predecessor been doing a good job with running things?" Olympus questioned, her warm smile returned quickly.

(Y/N) looked over at her, giving her a nod as a smile formed across her features, "It took a while for my father to get used to everything but the people are happy. So I say yes."

'Oh father?' Olympus thought as she was hiding her smirk behind her smile. Olympus placed an arm around her shoulders, maybe this one can get her in. "You know I recognized some of your features." She stated as she guided (Y/N) away from the passage she was about to go in. Instead she guided the young woman into another passage and into her room where they chatted over a cup of tea.

Olympus's hatred subsided, as she couldn't help but see her younger self in the young woman. "What do you want to do once you take over the kingdom?" Olympus questioned, out of the blue catching (Y/N) off guard.

(Y/N) placed her tea cup down looking at Olympus in surprise before saying, "I guess ... I want to be just like my father. Keeping the peace among the people and nedirine as well as extend my hand to those in need." Olympus felt herself freeze, it was like listening to a recorder as she said the exact same thing herself.

Olympus stood up, "Follow me." She spoke softly, gesturing for (Y/N) to follow her, she must make this girl her next ruler since she can't be the next one herself. Sure she's naive but just like how she learned (Y/N) will learn the same way. But first she has to show her in the country, she has to show her Atlantis's true colors.
