Hunter's POV
The stars twinkled above, shining brightly despite the shine of the moon, looking almost as if they were competing with one another. I jumped across the roof tops, careful to avoid the dragon-like creatures which wandered the streets or even some sleeping on the roofs. Their scales glimmering in the moon's light, almost looking as if the scales were stars themselves.
I couldn't help but look at the creatures in awe for a moment, before shaking my head, turning my focus back on the task at hand. I have to inform my sister about what the cloaks were conversing about. I couldn't hear much, but the fact how they spoke excitedly made me nervous, not to mention I heard (Y/N)'s name in their conversation every now and then.
I jumped into the tree which stood just below my sister's balcony. I froze as I heard a door open, before closing, I looked over, seeing a cloaked figure move away from the castle and into the streets. My eyes narrowed in the direction of the cloaked figure, before jumping off the branch and back onto the roof.
I followed the cloak figure, making sure to always stay out of their sight as I followed them, to which they led me straight to an area where the cloaks meet. My eyes widen slightly, "They have people inside?" I question quietly, before looking back in the direction of the castle. "She's not going to like this." I then made my way back to the castle, leaving the cloaked figure behind.
(Y/N)'s POV
I let out a groan as Ama began to fix my hair into a sort of elegant greek style, turning my hair into a sort of beach wave while braiding the strands that lined my face, before pulling them back and tying them while placing a small moonflower where the two braids met. "I thought we just had a ball?" I spoke in a groan, slouching in my chair slightly.
Ama swat at my shoulder, "Sit up, you'll wrinkle your dress." I let out a sigh, sitting back up, allowing Ama to finish my hair before pulling me up to my feet, smoothing out the end of my dress with her hands.
The dress was a navy blue color, looking similar to the night sky. However the top half had a silver design etched into it, as well as a bit of lace as the straps and around the collar bone area. The bottom half of the dress faded into a slightly light blue, however depending on how I turned, the dress sparkled almost like stars. Separating the two sections was a silver belt with the shape of a crescent moon in the middle of the belt.
Ama then took a step back from me, a satisfied smile decorating her lips, "You look wonderful!" She then slipped out navy blue flat shoes before placing them in front of my feet, allowing me to slip them on. "I knew the dress would fit you perfectly."
I twirl around, looking at the dress more closely. My back was fully exposed and the dress was definitely less poofy than the last one which is one thing I like about it. "Thank you Ama." I say with a nod.
"Oh don't think me princess. I'm glad to assist you." Ama spoke in a small bow, causing me to wrinkle my nose slightly, but I fixed my posture.
"So ... what is this ball for?" I questioned as Ama began cleaning off the table from all the makeup and hair spray products.
"Well, it is to celebrate the first night of spring as well as the regrowth of the moonflower." Ama answered, situating out my table before fixing up her hair. "Plus this is an opportunity to put what I taught you to work." She spoke, turning around to look at me. "Most of the people there will be speaking Atlantean as well as practicing the things I have taught you."
I gulp, looking at her nervously, "O-Oh." I looked down towards the ground, trying to go over all the words I know as well as how to say them depending on who you are talking to.
