Cyan lightning scattered across the arena as Olympus dodged a sword, a smile decorating her young adult face. She then raised her sword to block the sword that came from her opponent. She then swung her sword at the opponent's weak side, noticing the small limp in his left leg, forcing her opponent back. She then knocked the sword out of his hands, sending the blade bouncing away, causing the crowd to go wild as she aimed her blade at her opponent's throat.

She looked up towards her father who wore a proud smile. "You've done well training her Rota." Asgard complemented the valkyrie warrior who wore a similar as he did.

"She was an excellent student, your majesty." Rota responded with a nod of her head, before looking back down at Olympus, "You're daughter is destined for great things."

I unsheathed my blade as I took the chance to examine it, not really paying attention to the other competitors, the cheers of the people outside could hardly be heard in the waiting room where knights were either sharpening their weapons or mentally preparing themselves.

"So the princess really did decide to show." I turn around, seeing a young Atlantean, which might've been a few years older than me with light teal hair skin, white skin with teal bands around his upper arms and teal markings under his brown eyes. "I didn't think the rumors were true." He added with a sneer as he crossed his arms, raising his head high.

I raised a brow, "And you are?" I questioned, watching as he looked at me with an offended look, placing his hand over his chest as if he couldn't believe what he was hearing.

"Why, I'm only one of the best fighters here." He stated, causing me to tilt my head slightly in confusion. "And the whole kingdom as well." He continued with the wave of his hand, talking highly of himself.

"Hector is the finest warrior in the kingdom." I corrected, remembering the words of my father when I first asked him about Hector. A scowl formed along the man's face as Hector's name fell from my lip.

He scoffed, "Oh please pretty boy? He isn't that great." He crossed his arms in distaste.

"Says the person that got their a$$ handed to them by him." Another knight laughed, while the young male turned his head to glare at him.

"Shut up Thasias." He snapped, making the other knight laugh even louder as he walked away. He then turned his head to glare down at me before saying, "I won't hold back just because you're a princess."

I smirked, "Good, I was hoping you would say that. I prefer a challenge." He scoffed, before walking away without saying another word. My smirk dropped into a frown as I looked down at my sword with uncertainty. I was just handed this, without much knowledge of its capabilities or how it even works. Not to mention I don't have any armor, Rota told me each warrior makes their own armor after they have completed training ... which I haven't done.

I begin to inspect the sword in my hands, wondering if there is an on button or sensors to activate the electricity that I have seen moments before. "Your majesty." I look over, seeing the same man who was teasing the other one, Thasias I believe he said his name was. He looked to be in his late twenties to early thirties, his hair was white tipped with dark teal as his skin was a light teal with white markings under his eyes which were a bright green. He took my hand, clasping it on his own as he spoke, "It is a pleasure to meet you, my son speaks highly of you."

I look at him confused, "Son?" I questioned.

"Why yes, my son Seidon." He spoke with a small smile, raising his head with pride. "Oh and don't mind Zilo, he's always like that." Thasias added with a wave of his hand. "Is too prideful for his own good."
