I stumbled down to the ground, kicking up dust as I landed on my back, the stick I was practicing with bouncing out of my hands. "Focus! That is the second time you went to lala land!" Rota scowled, as she glared down at me. "I guess you and your nedirine have that in common." She added as she glanced up before taking a few paces back, allowing me to sit up.

I turned around seeing Isla go into pouncing mode as she stared at a crab scurrying across the sand, another nederine that had dark green scales with a mud colored stripe going from his snout to his tail, blending well with the dark green. He was also a size smaller than Isla, not to mention he didn't have any patterns across his scales like Isla did. The dark green nedirine watched Isla with unamusement as she pounced on top of the crab, but lucky for the crab, it scurried just out of reach.

I let out a sigh, grabbing a hold of my long wooden stick, which was supposed to be representing a sword, climbing back up onto my feet. Rota got herself into a fighting position, placing her empty hand behind her. I adjusted the grip on my stick, "I'm sorry." I say as I adjusted my stance, letting my free hand dangle at my side.

"Don't apologize, just do." Rota snapped, looking at me coldly while I looked at her with an emotionless expression.

Ever since yesterday, anger seemed to be sticking on me like white on rice. I haven't talked to Soviet nor Reich since the incident, I avoided them where I went, even brushed them off when they try to talk to me. I know I have to choose one day but if they keep doing stuff like that, I'm going to have to choose sooner. It was my fault that it happened after all. "(Y/N)!" I snapped out of my daze just in time to block Rota's attack, the sound of wood hitting wood reaching my ears. "Focus." She spoke, this time her tone was a little bit softer before she pulled away then swung her stick once again.

I jump back to avoid the weapon, before raising my own to block another attack, then another and another. I kept my footing, despite the sand sinking under my feet, backing away as Rota continued on with her barrage of attacks without end. I struggled to find an opening as the attacks didn't seem to let up, it's like she wants me to lose if it weren't for me being almost as quick as her I would've .... that's it!

I stopped moving and instead kept her in place, taking this time to examine her head to toe, looking for any weaknesses. This woman has been in battle many times, which means there has to be some sort of injury that has affected her movements. An idea formed in my head as I noticed her right side isn't as well guarded as her left side. So she is right handed then, I should keep that in mind.

Isla perked her head, her attention now focused on me as a smirk decorated my lips, a look of determination took over my emotionless expression. "She is going to fail again, she's already starting to lose focus." The dark green nedirine spoke with a sigh, shaking his head in disapproval.

A small smile made its way across Isla's snout, "That's not true." Isla spoke, catching the dark green nedirine slightly off guard, looking over at the light blue nedirine.

"Have you finally stopped chasing that crab?" The dark green nedirine question as he adjusted himself, turning slightly more onto his side from where he was laying down.

Isla sat on her haunches, curling her tail neatly over her talons as she did so, "My Atlantean will win this round, just you wait." She spoke with confidence, ignoring the other nedirine's comment.

The dark green nederine scoffed, his light brown eyes holding disbelief, "Whatever you say kid."

I adjusted my feet as I pulled away this time before swinging the stick, aiming her right side. Rota seemed surprised as he blocked the attack, her eyes now solely trained on my stick instead of on me. I raised my foot, kicking her stomach forcing her to stumble away. I walked a few steps forward before continuing my attack, keeping each one trained on her right side as I forced her on the defensive.
