I walked along the halls, my hair swaying back and forth as I walked along the tile floors, the sound of my shoes hitting the tile seemed to let out an echo. Hector walked right by my side, escorting me to the location of Pacific's teachings. No words were passed between us as we walked, the silence wasn't awkward but instead peaceful.
It's been like this for the past few days after Pacific had revealed himself along with his kind to the countries. I would wake up, get ready, eat breakfast, attend Ama's lesson, eat lunch, attend father's lesson, attend Pacific's lesson, eat dinner, sleep, then repeat. I haven't really had any time to myself, which was starting to become frustrating. Not to mention, I haven't really spent any time with the countries with us all being busy. My father established trade and alliances with them while I got stuck in class.
I heard a few shouts coming from outside, I stopped, looking out the window to see America and Russia getting into an argument. The other countries were either trying to defuse the situation or watching from the sidelines. I couldn't help but smile softly as I looked down from where they stood on the pathway.
"(Y/N). We don't want to be late." Hector spoke as he looked towards the window before looking back down at me, his expression unreadable. "Pacific would have my head." I hear him mumble.
My smile faded to a frown as I let out a sigh, "You're right. Let's go." I couldn't help but stand there for a moment more, watching as the two of them raise their fists, ready to strike the other, before walking away from the window.
It was silent until Hector broke the silence by saying, "I'm sure your father will give you a day to accompany them."
I turn my head to look at him with a calm expression on my face, "I don't blame him separating me from them for now. They would cause a distraction to my teachings and slow things down." I then look back towards the window, "Although ... I wish I could be by their side instead sometimes." I then turned back to look forward while silence settled itself over the both of us once more.
"My, my, what do we have here?" I stopped in my tracks, the familiar voice, one I never thought I would hear again, reached my ears. "The princess is out and about, I would think she would be busy resting considering she is still wounded." I turn around seeing none other than Martial, walking towards the both of us with a small smile on his lips.
Hector placed his hand on the handle of his sword as Martial approached, stopping just a few feet away from us. I raised my hand, placing it in front of Hector catching his attention. "It's fine Hector, he's not a threat." I say, before returning Martial's smile.
"But he kidnapped you!?" Hector questioned, raising his voice slightly before calming as we made eye contact.
"He, unlike Confederate, wished no harm to me. Therefore he isn't a threat in my eyes." I say before looking back over at Martial. "I thought you returned to the island after the ceremony?"
"I did, but I decided to come back and stay awhile. It's boring over there, besides I can hang out with my younger brother here." Martial explained as he looked towards the window before looking back at me. He then looked around before a small smirk formed along his lips, "You know I never got the chance to see the whole castle." He then looked back at me while holding out his hand, "I think I am in need of a tour."
I was about to answer till Hector cut me off, "Well I am sorry to say but the majesty as a lesson to attend to and - hey!" Martial grabbed my hand before running off, dragging me right behind him as he led me away from my guard, Hector running after the two of us. Martial then pulled me in a hallway, hiding behind a large flower pot as Hector ran past shouting my name.
"You know ... for a guard he isn't too bright is he?" Martial questioned with a small grin as he stepped out of our hiding spot.
"He has his moments." I say, as I dusted myself off while stepping out from behind the pot. I then look at him with a raised brow, staring into his dark blue eyes, "But what was the purpose of dragging me off?"
