"I wouldn't be too sure of that," a new voice speaks.
"E-eddie?" I slowly unlock the stall door. "Oh my god it is you!" I run towards him and hug him, so happy that he looks ok and not injured. But then I remember why I was worried about that. "WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD YOU START THAT FIGHT?"
"You're mad at me for defending you?" Eddie asks.
"No, I'm just asking why?!"
"Imma head out," Grant backs out of the bathroom.
"Why do you think?! I love you!"
"Well I can tell that, my heart doesn't lie," I run my fingers over it. "I'm sorry, I was just so worried about you."
"Well, I'm ok," Eddie says.
"Did you get in trouble?" I ask.
"A few days of detention but I can get rid of that if I just go to school this Saturday and clean up the bleachers instead. They obviously knew that the bullying was going on for a long time, so they understood that it was justified," Eddie says.
"Thank God," I say. "Are you hurt at all?" I run my fingers over his face.
"No, but that dick can't say the same," Eddie laughs and winces a little.
"Are you ok?" I ask.
"Yeah, yeah I'm fine. I just need to sit down," Eddie winces when he sits down.
"Are you sure, because you don't look fine," I say.
"Yeah I'm sure," Eddie says. Then he moans out in pain.
"Ok, I don't think you're ok. Let's get you to the hospital. Can you walk?" I ask.
"I think so," Eddie says. I'm able to get him out of the bathroom before he almost falls on top of me. I get him down gently before pulling out my phone and calling 911.
