Part 2: Life Saver

Natsu's POV
"Master, do you think he's going to be okay?" I heard someone ask, I'm guessing it was Lucy. "I have no doubt that Natsu will be just fine. If there is one thing I know about him, it's that nothing can stop him. And I doubt a stab wound is going to be the thing to stop him." Master said to Lucy.
"Yes, Natsu is much to stubborn to let something like this get to him," Charla said. "Heh, yeah I'm sure flame brain will be just fine," someone said, and sadly I knew it was Gray.

*•* about an hour later *•*

(Still) Natsu's POV
Finally I could open my eyes. The first thing I noticed was Lucy smiling warmly at me, "your awake!" She said happily. I noticed that I was in the infirmary. "Hey Lucy, what happened to me?" She laughed, what was so funny? I usually hate being in the infirmary, I have to get out of here. As I tried to sit up, a terrible pain smashed through my body. "Oh, no Natsu, you can't get up," Lucy said as she pushed Natsu back down onto the bed. "Ow!" I 'half' yelled as she fell on top of me. "Opps, sorry!" She apologized, "it's okay," I grumbled as I tried to deal with the pain. Lucy made a sad expression, and put her hand on my hand, "are you okay?" She asked me kindly. "I'm fine." I said, 'better now that I can hold your hand' I thought as I stared down at our intertwined fingers. Lucy lightly squeezed my hand, "I'm so glad your okay, I was really worried about you." She said as she stared down at her lap, even though her hair was covering her face, I could see the blush that had crept onto her skin.

"So, what happened to me?" I asked as soon as her face went back to normal. But once again her face turned bright red. "You saved my life."
"I did?" I asked, a little too soon. Lucy smiled, "yeah, you did." I looked up at the ceiling, my memory of 'saving her life' coming back to me. 'Wow, I was stabbed? Im usually so careful.' I thought. "Why did you do it?" Lucy asked, breaking the silence. 'Because I had to.' I thought again. "I don't know, I guess I just thought that if you died, I wouldn't have your apartment to crash at," I said as I gave her a fake grin. Sadly, Lucy believed me, which sucks. That was a total lie, there are so many reasons why I saved her. So many reasons that I would never admit.

"Speaking of my apartment, I should head back. It's getting late." Lucy said as she started to stand up. "Night Natsu, see you tomorrow," Lucy said as she walks out the door.
"Lucy! Wait!" I yell, hoping she could hear me. Luckily she heard me. Peaking her head around the door way corner, "yes Natsu?" "Umm, never mind, good night Lucy!" I said, somewhat nervous. 'Wait, nervous? I'm never nervous, what the hell is wrong with me?'

Lucy's POV
I sighed as I walked down the dark lonely streets of Magnolia. 'Why does he have to be such an idiot?' I asked mentally, "he may be and idiot, but he's my idiot" I said out loud this time. Once what I said sunk in I stopped dead in my tracks. "Natsu is not my idiot. He is just a friend, nothing more then a friend." I said to myself, though, half of me didn't believe it.

"Ahh, finally," I sighed as I sat down in my bath tub. "Now this is what I really needed," I said out loud, happily.

"Princess, do you need me to wash your back?" I heard someone say. I gasped in shock, and immidietly tried to cover myself. "Virgo?! What are you doing here? Go away, I'm naked!" I shouted at Virgo. "Sorry princess, do you wish to punish me?" Virgo asked as she looked at me. "No! What are you doing here!" I yelled again. "Loki sent me. He said that you told him that you wanted to do some modeling pictures? Loki also said that you told him that you wanted to do a photo shoot in the bath tub." Virgo said loyally. I gave her a blank stare. "Of corse Loki said that."
"Yes princess, would you like you punish me now?" Virgo replied out of nowhere. "No! Will you stop asking me that? And you tell Loki that I would like to have a talk with him!" I yelled once again. Virgo nodded and said, "as you wish princess."
