Part 9: Time Left: Two Years Until Dentination

Master Mokerovs POV
Sadness flowed over me as I watch every member Fairy Tail interact together down in the guilds main hall.

'I can't help but wonder what will become of them when this is all over,' I mentally grumbled.

'Go on you old man, tell them,' I told myself, walking down toward everyone.

I stood up in front of everyone, clearing my throat to get their attention.

I was not in a good mood, so I couldn't make any childish remarks, I just had to tell them in one go.

"Listen up everyone!" I thundered, earning complete silence from everyone in the room.

"About three months ago the Magic Council alerted me about something very important." I stated. A few whispers dropped into the air, but I continued.
"It seems we have a problem on our hands."
People gave me some weird looks.
"As you all know, Zeref is capable of creating demons, dragons and other monstrosities."
Everyone in the room tensed up, I could tell this was not going to fun for them to hear.

"The Magic Council was informed that Zeref has created an 'army' so to speak. As this is a dangerous threat to everyone in, and out side of Fiore, Fairy Tail and many other guild have been asked to 'eliminate' the issue."

I scanned across the expressions of everyone in the room, sadness, fear, anger, and disappointed was stretched across their faces.

Oh but then I saw Natsu.
And if I wasn't talking about something serious I would have slapped myself in the face.

I stared at Natsu with a blank expression.

The idiot was grinning away, with one fist clenched and held above his head, "finally! I get to kick some butt!" He yelled excitedly, "haha, alright I'm all fired up!"

Everyone looked at Natsu with a blank expression, "are you serious?" Gray asked as he shook his head.

"Are you that dense?!" Lucy yelled as she pinched the bridge of her nose.

I slightly smiled, but grew serious once again.

"PLEASE PAY ATTENTION!" I yelled furiously, and everyone shut up immediately.

"We will be fighting over 100 demons, demons just like, and even stronger then Deliora, we will be fighting Zerefs Dragons, including Agnologia."
Everyone gasped, after The Tenrou Island incident, everyone feared the Dark Dragon Agnologia. Well everyone except Natsu, all he ever says is "I want a rematch," or "next time I see Agnologia I'm not gonna hold back!"

"And we will fight Zeref." I said, breaking myself from my train of thought.

I looked down upon my children, "how long do we have before we have to fight them?" Gray asked, breaking the silence. "About two years, and may a few months," I answered.

I heard Natsu groan, "we have to wait that long?!" He complained.
"You should be grateful we have that long!" Erza thundered.

I continued my speech, "BUT NO MATTER HOW MANY DEMONS, DRAGONS, AND DARK WIZARDS WE HAVE TO FACE, WE WILL WIN! WE WILL COME HOME AS A FAMILY ONCE AGAIN! AND WE WILL SAVE FIORE FROM THE DARKNESS!" I yelled triumphantly, holding a proud fist above my head.

"AYE SIR!" Everyone screamed in response.

Natsu's POV
I was walking back to my cabin in the dark when I heard her broken voice.

"Nat-su..." her voice cracked.

I stopped walking and turned around to see her standing a couple feet away, holding her shaky hand out to touch me.
