Part 1: You Saved Me

Hello readers, I just wanted to mention that once you've finished the book, at the very, very end, I am currently writing a Double Bonus Chapter! Please read it! It will most likely consist of two separate chapters, because I'm still writing the first one and it's very long. I do not wish to create a sequel, so please support my decision. Thank you. Lucy's POV
You know that one special moment when you realize that the perfect guy for you, has been right in front of you the entire time? That insane moment when you realize that you do like him. Yeah, well it just so happens I know that moment too.

"Open, gate of the maiden! Virgo!" I yell as I held Virgos key proudly above my head.
"Hello princess, is it punishment time?" Virgo asks innocently. "Nope! Just help me get rid of these creeps, will you?" I asked pointing toward the group of mysterious masked men.
"As you wish princess."

In no time at all Virgo takes care of the men. 'Now its just time to wait for Erza and Gray to return from their part of the battle,' I thought. "Princess, I will be heading back now", says Virgo. "Okay, thanks for you help." I said, smiling as Virgo disappears.
I began to head over to where Natsu is standing, he got rid of his group around the same time Virgo did. "Hey Natsu," I said as I walked up him. He looked up at me and said, "hey Lucy, are you done?"
"Yep, it was pretty ea-
"Lucy! Watch out!" Natsu yelled as he pushed me to the ground a few feet away from him. "Fire Dragon Iron Fists!" Natsu said as he swung his fiery fist toward someone. I gasped as the person caught Natsu's fist, and quickly drove a knife through his stomach.
"Natsu!" I yelled as I ran over to his stunned body. "Open, gate of the archer! Sagittarius!" I yelled while running. "Hello miss Lucy, what can I do for you?" I point toward the running man who had stabbed Natsu, and Sagittarius went after him.

I caught Natsu as he started to fall back wards, and gently lay his head on my lap while I started press down on his stab wound. "Thanks Lucy," Natsu weakly says as he looks up with glossy eyes. "Hey now, don't cry, I'm gonna be okay," He said as he gave me a weak thumbs up, and a pained grin.
"Lucy! Natsu! What happened?!" Gray and Erza yell as they run over with Wendy, Charla, and Happy. I looked up at them and yelled, "it's Natsu! He's hurt!" Looking back down at Natsu's pale face I heard Wendy call "let me help him!"
"Are you gonna be alright?" Natsu asked me. I looked at him, "what do you mean?" "Are you gonna be alright until we get back to the guild? We don't have any food with us, and I can hear your stomach growling." He said, making his signature grin. 'Even with a stab wound, he still tries to make people laugh' I thought as I quietly laughed, "heh, yeah, I'm sure I'm not going to starve." I answered jokingly. "I'm more worried about you. Are you sure your gonna be okay?" I asked, ruffling some of his soft pink hair. He grinned at me, "never been better." I couldn't help but smile, classic Natsu.

Natsu's POV

"Never been better," I told her. In return I saw her entire face light up with a beautiful smile.
"Okay, enough goofing around we need to get Natsu back to the guild." Erza said as Wendy started to do some magic on me. Thankfully Wendy's magic started to take away some of the pain, but it still was unbearable.
Even with Wendy's magic, and Lucy asking "are you okay?" Every five minutes, I couldn't keep myself from starting to pass out. And just as I expected, every thing went black as Lucy grabbed my hand and whispered, "thank you Natsu, you saved me."

Lucy's POV
Luckily the job request we had done was just outside Magnolia, so it wasn't a long time before we got Natsu into the infirmary. But even though it was a short journey, the only thing on my mind was Natsu. I just don't understand, why would he save my life? I mean I would save his life a thousand times over, but that's only because I really care about him. It's not like he cares about me like that, he's got Lisanna. But, Natsu and I are really close friends, so I guess that's why he did it. Because we're friends.

"Lucy, you should go home, it's late and you fought hard today." Erza said once we got Natsu all bandaged up. I shook my head, "no way! I'm staying right here." I argued. 'Im never going to leave his side. Never.' I thought as I stared down at Natsu. Erza laughed, "okay, I guess he's in your hands. Goodnight Lucy" She said as she walked out.

Erza's POV
'Lucy is so sweet, she really cares for Natsu. I can see it, everyone can see it. I can't help but wonder if they have some secret love thing going on.' I sighed, 'I don't think that will ever happen, but it would be nice. I can see it in Lucy's eyes, when she looks at Natsu. Lucy loves him. She just doesn't know it yet. Come it think of it, I see it in Natsu too. When we talk about Lucy or when he sees her. Natsu loves her too.'

(I KNOW THIS CHAPTER IS VERY SHORT, IM SORRY. NEXT CHAOTER WILL BE LONGER!) Haha! First chapter! So I realize that the original Natsu would never ever actually get stabbed, he is too careful (kinda). But I needed something to start with and this is what I came up with! I'm trying to keep every ones real personalties in tact, but it's really hard! But what ever! I posted a picture of Nalu of the side, so yeah!
