Part 4: Slaying A Demon!

Grays POV
"Ice Make: Cannon!" I yell, as I shoot the cannon at the demons head. "Damn, even though it's a mini demon, it's tougher then I thought it would be." I said out of breathe, I have already used a lot of magic power, and there is hardly a scratch on it. Open, Gate Of The Lion! Leo!" I heard Lucy yell, "Open! Gate Of The Golden Bull! Taurus!" She tell soon after. "Sky Dragon, Roar!" Wendy yelled as she did a breathe attack, "Fire Dragon, Roar!" Natsu yelled as well. "Heavens Wheel!" Erza thundered, "Ice Make: Lance!" I yell, getting back into the fight.

A purple light targeted Wendy, and it obviously was an attack from the demon. As the demon fired the purple Fire Poison toward Wendy she just stood there, to scared to move. "Wendy!" Lucy shrieked as she sprinted toward her, "get out of the way!" Lucy screamed again as she shoved Wendy out of the, just in time. Lucy got Wendy out of the way, but had no time to move her self, she screamed bloody mary as the poison fire collided with her body, burning her skin raw. "Lucy!" Natsu yelled as he ran toward Lucy. Even though the attack was over, the attacks affects hadn't warn off, and the Poison Fire was still revolving around her body, killing her. "Lucy!" Wendy, Erza, and I (A/N it's Grays POV) yelled as we ran toward her. "You guys! The fight isn't over! I will help Lucy, keep fighting!" Wendy said while we all kneeled beside Lucy's burning body, "Damn it! Just stop the spell!" Lucy cried in agony, "I got this!" Natsu said, "Gray, Wendy's right, this battle isn't over," Erza said as she pulled my hand over to fight with her against the monster. "C'mon Gray, Lucy will be okay!" Erza said, as she requiped. I nodded my head, and began to fight.

Normal POV
Gray and Erza went off to fight the Mini Demon, created by Zeref, while Natsu and Wendy tried to help Lucy. "I can't take away the fire! That's not how my magic works!" Wendy cried, "well we have to do something! Can't you blow it out with your wind?" Natsu pleaded desperately, "I don't know, let me try!"
"Sky Dragon Roar!" She yelled, aiming her wind directly at the fire spell cast on Lucy. "What!" Natsu and Wendy yelled because Wendy's breathe attack didn't put out the fire. "Please! Hurry!" Lucy cried. "Natsu! What are you doing?!" Wendy asked Natsu, "Your eating the poison fire! Great idea!"

"Ahh, now I've got a fire in my belly," Natsu said after he ate the fire that was consuming Lucy.
Lucy was breathing heavily, the Poison Fire had done too much damage. "Are you okay?" Natsu asked once Lucy's breathing leveled out a little. "I.. *groans in pain* ..will be fine," Lucy pants, "Natsu, you should go help Erza and Gray, I will help Lucy, I promise." Wendy swore, as she put a hand on Natsu's shoulder. "Are you sure?" Natsu asked nervously, "yes, I'm not going to let anything happen to her, now go." Wendy said seriously, Natsu stared into her eyes, and nodded, "okay, kid, please take care of her," Natsu said, leaning down to kiss Lucy's forehead, before getting up and running toward Erza and Gray.

Wendy's POV
I had my hand on Lucy's neck, looking for a pulse, while I watched Natsu run off to fight with the others. I managed to find Lucy's pulse, it was weak but still going.
"It's okay Lucy, we're gonna help you," I said calmly. Lucy put a hand on my arm, and quietly said, "thank you, Wendy," she smiled and closed her eyes, "I'm so sorry." I got confused, 'why is she apologizing?' I mentally questioned, "why are you sorry?" I asked confused. Lucy started to cry, "because I'm so weak, now there is two less people to help Natsu, Erza and Gray," she sobbed a little more, "and it's all my fault!"
I frowned, "no it's not, you did the most amazing thing! You risked your life to save me, anyone in the guild would say that that's the complete opposite of weak!" I said honestly, "thanks," Lucy said crying, "but I can't just sit here and watch the rest of them fight that monster by them selves!" Lucy started to get up, screaming in pain. "No Lucy! You can't your still too hurt!" I cried trying to pull her back down, "no! I can't, I need to help them!" She fought back, "Lucy!" I yelled, which made her stop, "your too injured. Let me help you first." I said a little more quietly this time. Lucy was still standing, even if caused her pain, she didn't even look at me, "no." She said firmly, then she turned around and grabbed my shoulders and stared me straight in the eyes. "Wendy, I dont give a damn! I'm not gonna sit here, when they need my help! I'm going to help them, and we are gonna defeat the demon together." Lucy said, she was scaring me, and she knew it. I was shaking, but nodded my head and said "because fairy tail never gives up!" Lucy smiled and nodded, "that right! Now let's go fight for our friends back in fairy tail!"
