Part 18: Unison Raid; Fire And Keys

Natsu's POV
This was sickening.
We have been fighting forever, and haven't gotten close to winning.

Everyone who is alive is pretty much out of energy, all the guilds together were only able to take out one dragon so far, and that's only because the guild masters helped.

But we did take care of almost all the demons, and all the Dark Wizards.

But now, we are just like punching bags.
So many of us are broken due to death.
We have lost so many damn comrades, in gonna kill Zeref and all his stupid lizards! I just need some help, I need to find Lucy or someone to help me do a Unison Raid, it's our best shot.

Lucy got out of the infirmary a couple days ago, I just don't know where she is now.

'Luce, you better not be dead,' I thought, while running and avoiding attacks from dragons.

I saw Lucy, getting of the ground as one of her spirits went back to the celestial world.
"LUCY!" I yelled, running faster to get to her.

Lucy shakily stood up, when she saw me a silent smile appeared on her cut up, bruised face.
I saw a tear role down her cheek as I got to her, "Lucy are you okay?" I asked only standing a bout a foot away from me.

Then the demon she had been fighting fell to the ground, defeated.
I gawked at the dead demon, 'the hell?! Lucy defeated that thing by herself?!' I screamed in my mind.

I looked back at Lucy pointing at the demon, "y.. you beat that thing by yourself?!" I yelled excitedly, "how?!"

Lucy laughed weakly, hardly holding her self up.
"Well..." she said trailing off looking behind her.
I saw Juvia laying passed out on the ground, "I finished it off..." Lucy said before falling forward.

I caught Lucy as she fell into my arms, "I... called on all of... my.. spi..rits.." she whispered before passing out too.

I held Lucy up, and rubbed her back.

"My wife is insane," I chuckled, kissing the top of her head.

I looked around, lucky not everyone was dead, people were fighting dragons, and it looks like there was only one demon left, but there were six damn dragons, excluding Agnologia.

I made sure nothing was about to attack us, so I lifted Luce up, and took her somewhere we could rest for a while.

Natsu's POV
I don't know how frickin' long I have been walking with Lucy in my arms, but I finally made it to a nice clearing where no one was fighting anymore.

I lay Lucy down on the rubble covered ground, giving her my scarf for a pillow.

I watched her sleep, rubbing the back of her hand with my thumb.

Looking off into the distance I could still see people fighting, I could even hear their screams.

It honestly made me cringe.

'I just hope that all of our guild mate are still alive,' I thought, continuing to look off toward the war.

I grinned a semi-fake grin, "nah, of course they are still out there fighting. Fairy Tail ain't gonna give up, not now, not ever!" I said filling my self with new hope.

'I'm just glad I moved Juvia to a safe place as well, hopefully she is okay too,' I thought to myself.

I sighed looked back down at Lucy, 'I should get some sleep too,' I thought, laying down next to Lucy and placing my hand on her stomach.
