Chapter 48: Mistakes Were Made

          Brett P.O.V
   "Megan!" I grabbed her arm and slammed her against the wall. She seemed to be enjoying this.

   "Yes Brett?" She sounded so sweet, but she wasn't.

   "You told Shay about last night?" I was yelling under my breath so only she could hear me.

   "Oh, so you didn't want me to tell her? Well you could've told me that!" She acted shocked, but she was obviously a good actress.

   "Megan, she hates me now! I love her with all my heart and I'd do anything for her and our baby. But you just ruined everything!" I yelled.

   "Well maybe you shouldn't have slept with me!" She yelled back.

  "Mistakes were made, Megan. I totally regret everything I did with you last night and a few months ago. Shay is going to have our baby soon and I expect nothing from you! Don't ever talk to me, again!" I yelled one last time then let her go. She walked off and met up with Marco while I searched for Shay.

Shailene P.O.V
   "He did that to you?" I was shocked at the story that Marissa had told me.

   "Thats why I have those red marks on my wrists." She showed me the red marks again.

   "He wouldn't hurt you, though. Mostly because your pregnat with his baby." Taylor pointed out.

   "Thats comforting. But what about him cheating on me?" I pointed out.

   "I can't help you with that one, Shay. Thats all you." Marissa smiled.

   "Well, I think I need to talk to him about it. Maybe he loves me." I suggested.

   "Oh my god, Shay! Your in love!" Marissa laughed.

   "What?" I asked.

   "Oh, Shay! You want him to love you because you love him!" Taylor added.

   "Maybe he does love me." I blushed.

   "Well, here he comes!" Marissa ran away from the table with Taylor. Marissa was obviously scared of him still.

   "Can we please talk?" He sat down in front of me.

   "Please." I replied. "I just want to know why you did what you did."

   "Shay, I  don't even know why I called Megan to go over. I love you and John more than anything else in this world. I want to be there with you two as long as we all live." He leaned in and held my hands.

   "I knew you loved me." I smiled at him.

   "Of course I do." He smiled back. "I love you, Shailene."

   "I love you too, Brett."
