The New Deal

"Don't mind me."
"Klaus, Grace."
"You gonna do this in the Grill? In front of everyone? It's a little beneath you, don't you think?"
"I don't know what you are talking about. I just came down to my local pub to grab a drink with a mate."
"Get a round in, would you Tony?"
Klaus smiles, seeing that Elena is shocked.
"I'm surprised you two stuck around town long enough for happy hour."
"My sister seems to be missing. Need to sort that out."
"And I want to say sorry to you but the darkness took over."
"Cute blonde bombshell, psycho. Shouldn't be too hard to find."
"And I thought Grace you were getting better."
"Truth is I've grown to rather like your little town. Think I might fancy a home here. Oh I imagine you're wondering how does this is affect you. The answer is: not in the slightest. As long as I get what I want and everyone behaves themselves you can go on living your little lives however you choose. You have my word."
"What more could you possibly want?"
"Well for starters, you can tell me where I might find Stefan."
"Stefan skipped town the second he saved your ass."
"Well you see that is a shame."
Klaus throws a dart and gets a bulls-eye.
"Your brother stole from me. I need him found so I can take back what's mine."
"That sounds like a Klaus and Stefan problem."
Klaus moves toward Elena. Damon steps in between them. Klaus smirks.
"Ha. Well this is me broadening the scope, sweetheart."
"I am really sorry you two, I am going to be looking for Stefan and Kathrine."Grace leaves the bar.

"Stefan?"
"Come on, Stef. Olly olly oxen free. [When he walks into the light, his skin starts to burn] Aaah. Ow. Ugh."
He rushes to a shadowy corner.
"Really?! Still?!"
"Ha."
"What?"
"Witchy spirits aren't a big fan. And they use their juju to screw with my daylight ring!"
"Then wait outside."
"Elena...!"
"I'm not leaving until I know if he's here."
She goes further into the house; Damon rushes out.
"Stefan? Grace can you see him?"
"Go away! You shouldn't be here Elena."
Damon listens from outside.
"Stefan, I need your help. Bonnie said that you would be here."
"Well, Bonnie sucks at keeping secrets."
"Listen, you need to give Klaus his family back."
"I would rather not re meet Kol, Elijah and Finn so I am sticking with you Salvatore."
"Oh, really? Is that what I need to do?"
"Klaus compelled Jeremy to stand in front of speeding car. Don't you get it? Stefan, he's not gonna stop until he gets what he wants."
"Elena, stop talking. I'm not giving Klaus anything."
"Are you listening to me? He's gonna kill Jeremy!"
"Not really my problem."
Elena slaps Stefan so Grace Vamps.
"And you can go to hell!!"
Elena comes out of the house.
"That didn't go over well."
"Don't even start, Damon!"
"Let me talk to them!"
"You can't get in! The witches won't let you!"
"Here. Take my car keys. You go deal with your brother, I'll deal with mine."
He gives the keys to Elena, and then rushes into the house, running from shadowy spot to spot, so that he doesn't get burned, until he reaches the basement where Stefan and Grace are siting in some chairs.
"Wow! That was impressive. But the coffins aren't here, so...You can go away now."
"[Recovering from his burns.] I don't care about the coffins. We need to talk."
"Okay, lets talk."
"Nothing's ever easy with you, is it?"
Damon attacks Stefan and throws him out the house, kicks him in the stomach, takes a branch off a tree and stakes him in the stomach.
"That is for screwing up my plan! You stop me from killing Klaus and you steal his family! Why?? Doesn't make sense! Answer me!!"
"Piece by piece Klaus took everything from me. I'm doing the same to him."
"But I had him, Stefan! Why did you screw it up?"
"I did it to save you! We both did!"
Stefan throws Damon off of him. Stefan sits up and removes the branch.
"What?? No. No way! You didn't do this for me."
"He was one step ahead of us. If Klaus died, his hybrids would have killed you."
"(Whispering) Actually you both would have died."
"When are you going to get it through your head?"
Damon gets up and stakes him again.
"Stop saving me!! The both of you!"
Damon leaves.
"Would we really both had died?"
"You heard that?"
"Yeah so answer my question."
"Fine yes I saw it in a vision, you happy."
"Then let's kill him."
"It will kill you, Damon and 1000s of vampires so are you sure."
"Now I'm not but will it kill you."
"No Stefan it will not but I'll be alone."
"Are you trying to turn on my emotions."
"No Stefan, it's just..."
"Just what?"
"You know what forget it and leave me alone forever I'm not talking to you like this."
Grace leaves Stefan alone in the dark room.
Grace walks into the Grill and sits down with Caroline and Bonnie.
"I don't have time for this what do you want Grace?"
"I want to say sorry to the both of you for ruining the plan, I just know the Hybrids would have killed all of you if Klaus died and I didn't want to be alone on this planet."
"Why would they not have killed you?"
"There is only one thing that could kill a heretic and it depends on the level, as I am one of the powerful three it is like the white oak stake called the Maple oak dagger and it has to be into the heart."
"Why are you telling us this?"
"So that if I go wild ask for Eliza and tell her  you need MOD as GB is OOC."
"What does that mean?"
"Eliza we need the Maple Oak Dagger as Gracie Brandson is Out Of Control."
"Okay then."
"Sorry I have to go bye."She leaves quickly and heads to the Boarding house.
"Damon are you here?"
There was no answer so Grace walks and lays on the couch waiting for Damon when the voices start again as Damon enters and sees.
"No please stop it."

(I know it's a short chapter but I wanted her to talk to Stefan and have a heart to heart and also with Bonnie, Caroline and Elena to say sorry for all she has done to them, mostly Bonnie and Elena. I as well wanted to show after effects of the dark magic.)
