Hello, Brother

(I'm not doing POV of both Paul and Grace so it's going to continue to be Grace with some of Paul every now and then.)

Grace and Stefan are in Stefan's bed, where they are passionately having sex.

Stefan and Grace are engaging in post-coital cuddling. Grace seems to be asleep as Stefan gently rubs her arm.

Stefan has just changed into a tank top and his jeans and is laying on the bed while Grace flits around the bedroom, talking animatedly about Seline, her and Paul's new nanny while she continues to get dressed.
"And then she cut their sandwiches into the shapes of little hearts and stars, with no crust!"
"That's cute."
Grace makes a face at him, and Stefan starts to reconsider his comments.
"...Isn't it?"
"I'm just saying, if Paul had hired the old lady nanny, then my kids wouldn't be wasting perfectly good parts of the sandwich. Millions of people in this world go hungry every single day while our hot nanny is getting all sparkly with their food."
Stefan gives Grace a knowing look.
"Sounds like you're worried she's getting 'sparkly' with Paul."
"[scoffs] Well, yeah! He's running the Armory every minute he's away from Lilith and Ruby, sleeping on a futon and probably not eating full square meals."
Stefan smirks sarcastically.
"Ooh, maybe... he's eating the sandwich crusts."
"What I mean is, he's susceptible to hot nanny charms! We need to look out for him, you know? He's in a delicate place."
Grace finishes getting dressed and walks over to Stefan, who has stood to his feet and walked toward her as well.
"What's on deck for today?"
Stefan's expression is glum as he and Grace stand face to face.
"Well, I'm going back over all the Central State Missing Person Reports for the last four weeks to see if I missed a pattern."
"Great, I will follow up with the local affiliates. Maybe today will be better."
Stefan doesn't seem very optimistic, but he also doesn't seem to want to tell Grace this, so he simply smiles weakly.
"Yeah."
The two kiss for a long moment before they pull away.
"Bye."
"Bye."
Grace is about to leave as she pulls out her phone, but when she see something on the screen, she immediately stops in her tracks and spins around to face Stefan again.
"Stefan, they found a body!"
Grace rushes toward Stefan to show him the news alert.
"All those people that we've been tracking, and now there's a body. That's good, right?"
Stefan finally allows himself to feel a tiny bit hopeful about this lead.
"It's better than yesterday."

Seline has just brought Ruby and Lilith to the station where Grace is at work. The girls rush toward Grace and give her big hugs as Grace showers them with affection.
"Hey! Hi! Hi, girls..."
"Gracie!"
When Grace sees Seline behind them, she greets the woman as well, though it's clear her earlier distrust of her is still an issue despite Grace's best efforts to hide it.
"Hi."
"Sorry we're early."
"Oh, it's okay!"
Seline suddenly remembers something and pulls out a thumb drive.
"Oh, some guy named Pete from Sound dropped this off for you a few minutes ago."
Grace seems eager to see what is on this thumb drive and gratefully takes it from her.
"Thank you."
"No problem. You guys all good while I go grab a salad?"
"Yep. Enjoy your salad. Bye."
After Seline leaves, Grace makes a snarky comment under her breath as she leans over the chair to look at the computer on her desk.
"She probably likes kale, too."
The twins, who have heard this comment, look at Grace curiously.
"What's kale?"
Grace smiles weakly.
"You don't want to know."
Grace takes the thumb drive and puts it into the USB port on her computer so she can try to see what is on it. The drive as a video stored in the memory, which Grace opens and starts to watch. After a moment, the twins, who have been watching their surrogate aunt work, speak up.
"What movie is that, Gracie?"
Grace hesitates for a moment before she thinks of a child-appropriate way to explain the video to her daughters.
"This is a work movie that Gracie's been waiting for. The sound was broken, so Pete had to fix it."
The video is of Enzo's interview with Virginia in jail, though the audio is still pretty quiet as Grace points out the various characters.
"All right, that is Aunt Bonnie's friend Enzo. This is a movie about him trying to learn about..."
Grace pauses for a moment as she struggles for a descriptive term for what is going on.
"...A magical creature. And that is Princess Virginia St. John, who used to be locked in a tower, and she's the only one in the whole kingdom who knows the secrets of the creature we're looking for. But the princess escaped, and now no one can find her."
In the video, Enzo is interrogating Virginia about the Armory monster.
"[on-screen] Now, tell me what it is."
Suddenly, a loud screeching noise is heard, causing the twins and Grace to cover their ears with their hands before Grace stops the video.
"Too loud."
Grace, whose enhanced hearing caused the sound to be especially painful to her, nods and gives them an apologetic smile.
"Oh, yeah, sorry."
The rest of the audio in the video seems to be unavailable, and after a moment, Ruby groans.
"The movie's boring, Gracie."
Grace smiles at the twins apologetically.
"Well, it's not boring. It's just... broken."
Grace sighs as she tries to think about what to do about this broken video.
