Damon and Grace Listen to Stefan and Elena talking
"Hey..."
"Hey...do you, do you have a second?"
"Yeah, everything alright?"
"Yeah. Yeah, I just, um...I wanted to, uh...Caroline and I were talking about going to the dance and, um...Okay look, I know where we're at, you and I, and I know it would be stupid to even think that we could go back to the way things were, but I'm going to the dance and I'd like to go with you."
"Um, I'd love that."
"Okay, great. Bye."
They hang up. Damon walks in with Grace.
"I'm thinking gardenia corsage. Wrist obviously, you don't want to accidentally stab her in the chest with the pin. Now, that could get messy."
"Damon, I..."
"Come on My little Versailles."
Damon walks out of the room. Grace stares at Stefan then follows Damon.
"Are you okay?" Grace asks.
"I'm not, are you?" Damon says without looking at her.
"No but why don't we go together?" Grace says sitting next to Damon and hugs him.
"What as in a date?" 
"No just mates but act like it is more, Elena would be jealous."
"And can't Stefan hear this?"
"I put a spell on this room so I don't hear you having sex with people."
"Ah so would it make him jealous too?"
"Maybe..."
"I'm in, do you want a corsage?"
"A blue one thanks."
"Your welcome, it will match your eyes."
"Aw, is that emotion?"
"No." He smiles and Grace walks out.

Damon shows up dressed normally with Grace running after him in a long red dress.
"We four need to talk."
Damon, Grace, Elena and Stefan walk out of the hall.

Out in the hallway, Elena, Stefan, Grace and Damon are talking.
"If Alaric is sick then we need to find a cure. Something."
"We tried medicine, we tried magic."
"Why don't we get him off vervain, compel him?"
"What? To pretend to be Alaric? The guy that we know is gone."
"We're talking about someone who not only hates vampires, but vampire sympathizers. Which makes one of his most obvious targets: I don't know, you! [indicating Elena.]"
"What you think he'd go after Elena?"
"So wait, what are you two suggesting we do?"
"I'm suggesting that we put him out of his misery."
"What?!"
Jeremy joins them, having overheard their conversation.
"No, no way in hell!"
"Oh come on, It's what he would want."
"It's a mercy killing."
"You are out of your mind!"
"Jeremy..."
Jeremy leaves and Elena follows but only Jeremy returns.

A moment late, Damon, Grace, Stefan and Jeremy are hurrying out of the school. Suddenly Damon, Grace and Stefan stop, while Jeremy continues walking until he stops as they don't follow him. There is a line of salt going around the school.
"Salt. It's the binding agent for her spell."
"We're trapped here."
"All us Vampires."
Grace's phone goes off.
"Is that Eliza and Angelica again?" Stefan asks.
"No it's a family member."
"I thought they were dead?"
"Doppelganger then."
"What?"
"Hey person who stole my face, what's up?"
"Where are you New Orleans or Mystic Falls?"
"Mystic Falls more Stuck at the high school there by a salt circle."
"On my way with Emma."
"Okay Hazel."
She hangs up.
"What?"
"You have a doppelganger?"
"And didn't tell us?"
"Sorry."

Later, in the classroom, several candles are lit and Bonnie is chanting. Damon, Stefan, Grace, Klaus, Jamie and Jeremy are there.
"She does this all the time, right?"
"What's taking so long?! All boundary spells have a loop hole."
Matt enters.
"People are walking right out of the dance, past the barrier."
"Matt and I can leave, we can stop Esther ourselves. We just gotta find out where she is."
"It's suicide, Jeremy."
Klaus rushes over and grabs Jamie by the throat and starts to strangle him.
"Suicide would be disappointing me! Now work your magic, witch, or I'll start killing people you fancy."
"Let him go!"
"Not until you get us out of here."
"Ah, don't be stupid, Klaus. Bonnie doesn't give a damn about us. The only reason she's helping us right now is to save Caroline and Tyler and maybe Grace. You start killing the people she cares about, she'll tell us all to go to hell."
Klaus lets go of Jamie and Grace gives Bonnie a bracelet then going looking for Tyler and Caroline.

Tyler and Caroline  kiss as Grace walks in.
"Woah, sorry." Grace says turning away.
"Good, go away." Tyler says.
"It's okay Grace what do you need?" Caroline says hiting Tyler
"I need somebody to help me find a place to live because I don't want to be in the boy's way." She says turning back to them
"I'll help you, I think Elena and Jeremy have a spare room, you could them or stay with me."
"Thank you Caroline." She says going to look for Stefan.

Klaus and Stefan are standing outside the school near the entrance to the gym hall as Grace heads out.
"You know this is your fault. You set us on this path when you released my mother. I wonder if revenge will prove worth the cost."
"Oh, I'm done with revenge. As far as Esther; we've stopped her before, we'll stop her again."
"We're strange bedfellows, you and I. You know, all of this, reminds me of our time together in the Twenties."
"You say that like I'm supposed to have happy memories about it."
"Well, there were moments. Real friendship. Brotherhood."
Damon walks up.
"Well, he already has a brother. Not to be, you know, territorial or anything."
"Oh no, of course, the Salvatores. And their unshakeable bond. I wonder what'll happen when Elena finally makes her choice. Will we see you shake just a little bit?"
"Now I have both of you hear, I'm moving out at some point."
"What why?"
Bonnie comes out of the school.
"It's done. Esther's not fighting me any more. The boundary spell is broken."
Klaus tests the boundary with his arm, and seeing Bonnie's words are correct, rushes away.
"Thank you, Bonnie. For everything."
"I didn't do it for you."
"So where  you moving?" Damon asks on the way.
"Either with Caroline or if Elena and Jeremy want, with them."
"Why?"
"Because I feel like I am in your way so I'm moving out."
"There is no need."
"If you give me 10 reasons to stay I will."
And with that Grace leaves and goes home to sleep the night off.
