A Difficult Choice

My mother got home early that night and I told her how my first day went and she asked me if Avva was planning to come over at some point soon. It was Avva's little ritual that she would every now and then have a surprise visit that she would tell me about as weather my mum wanted her over she knew she could stop her. I said that Avva hadn't told me anything but I did tell her that just to be safe she should but a few things just in case she did come over later. I went to my room and did all the homework I got before layin on my bed and putting in my earplugs and letting the music drown out the world. I got up an hour later and my mum had cooked me some food but had gone to bed early after eating I watch TV before going to bed.

The next day I got up and my mum was that cooking for me I kissed her on her cheek and gave her a good morning hug. After breakfast I put all my stuff back in my bag from yesterday and waited for fr Avva to roll up because she would be pissed if I didn't. Once she got there I got in the car and she was smiling a huge grin but I had never had that kind of smile before.

"What's with the smile," I said.

"Just that I may have found my new plaything," Avva said.

"You mean Lisa your partner for our class project," I said.

"That's the one... oh come on don't tell me you don't think she is cute," Avva said.

"I never said that I just don't think she is the type of girl that you usually sleep with," I said.

"Maybe I am expanding my horizons a bit," Avva said.

"I don't see how you could expand them by much your already sleeping with 60% of the girls in our year," I said and we both laughed.

"And as always you are more than welcome to join them anytime you like you know I will treat you right," Avva said humouring me.

"Dream on bitch," I said making us laugh more.

We got to school and I saw that Lisa girl was by the wall and when she saw Avva she smiled.

"Go get her tiger," I said as I headed inside.

I got to my locker and opened it I put my stuff in it and after closing it a guy with two-toned hair and bright red eyes came over to me.

"Can I help you," I said not liking the look in his eyes.

"Yeah your Maisy my name is Harry I was wondering if you would want to go out with me sometime," He said flashing an award-winning smile.

I was shocked for two reasons one this guy looked like he could have any girl he wanted and was asking me. Second a guy was actually interested in me I would be happy if I wasn't interested in girls so I had to say no and I was until someone answered for me.

"She is not going anywhere with you alone," Said a voice from behind me.

"You mind we were in the middle of something," Harry said.

"And I ended it," Said the voice as I turned around to see Jennifer.

"Thanks but I can speak for myself thanks," I said.

"See no need to answer for so this friend six o'clock work for you," Harry said.

"I said I can answer for myself but my answer is the same I don't want to go on a date with you I appreciate the offer tho," I said as I walked off.

For most of the day I just did the general stuff and then when lunch came around I decided to least talk with my partner. I was in the lunch hall but didn't see her so after eating I had a look around the school. I eventually found her by the old bike shed no one used it anymore as it was falling apart I guess she fits in here since I never see her with anyone.

"Hey," I said.

"Oh it's you," Jennifer said.

"Yeah um I was hoping we could do something about the joint project we have for class," I said.

"Oh yeah what did we have to do again," Jennifer said figures.

"Create a situation which would prove or give evidence of chaos theory," I said.

"What," Jennifer said.

"I know you remember the project all I want is to know when you want to get started," I said.

"Fine, your place good because I have no plans tonight," Jennifer said.

"Yeah my friend Avva can drive us after school," I said as I went back inside.

I got back to the cafeteria and told Avva the plan and needless to say it took some serious convincing to even get Avva to let Jennifer in her car. I was able to get her to agree on the condition that Avva bring Lisa along and we make it a group session and in a way I did want to meet this Lisa. Avva normally moves pretty fast with her conquests but for whatever reason she would appear to be taking it slow with Lisa. The rest of the day dragged on and soon enough the finale bell sounded and kids began to make there way home or where ever they go after school.

"I still don't like this by the way," Avva said as we waited by her car.

"I know but maybe this is a good thing a chance to perhaps change Jennifer for the better," I said.

"Or it is a chance for her to know the location of the last place that you are safe meaning she can find you anywhere you will never be safe after today," Avva said.
