It was Monday and so far it was a good Monday I was driving with the others Lisa and Avv were up front and I was in the back with Jennifer. I sat with my legs over Jennifer's as I kissed her it was nice just having her close and her lips on mine. When we got to school there were a bunch of kids by the gate we walked up and we got there Lucy was in handcuffs and being talked away by an officer. I couldn't believe it Lucy was being arrested I had a good idea of what for but none of us had leaked the info so who. As Lucy was taken away I saw in the corner Emma was looking as if she was happy and guilty did she tell them but why only Lucy?
"I'm glad she is getting put away but who told them," Jennifer said.
"It was Emma," I said.
"But how," Avva said.
"Think about it we all know what she is being put away for who else would know," I said.
"Right that does add up," Avva said.
The rest of the day went by normally as it could have the teacher did not even mention anything to do with Lucy's arrested and most kids stayed quiet about it too. When I got home I was given an invite to a group chat with Avva, Lisa and Jennifer so obviously I accepted. I have no doubt that it was Avva who set up the group chat and like always it was only a matter of time before she turned it into a library of nothing but memes but hopefully this would be different.
I chatted with two others for a good few hours before my mother called me down for dinner when I got back it appeared the three of them had talked thought-out their meals. Avva had made a few sexual jokes Lisa had tried to change the subject mutable times and failed and Jennifer had just laughed at the two of them. I talked with all three of them well into the night and then I went to bed with a smile on my face as I thought of them.
The next day I woke up and after I had my breakfast and was dressed Jennifer arrived outside my house with a goofy smile. I had a good look at what she was wearing and couldn't help but blush at her not to mention how she was standing. I let her in as I had a few things to do before I was able to leave and Avva was getting to pick us up anyway and hadn't arrived.
"So what's with the outfit," I said as I went to my room to pack my bag.
"What you don't like it," Jennifer said puffing out her chest.
"Forget it," I said.
"Awwww come on I put this on to get a reaction out of you and this s the best I get," Jennifer said.
"Yes now shut up and hand me my jacket," I said as I shoved my last book into my bag.
Once I had everything I pulled on my jacket that Jennifer had actually got for me and we left the house just as Avva rolled up. As it turned out Lisa was sick so Avva was driving solo until we got in and she put on some music before driving us to school. After we got to school I saw Sam talking to Emma or rather he was arguing with her as she just looked at him bord and annoyed.
"What do you think that is about," Avva said.
"Why don't we find out," I said as we walked up to her.
"You better watch your back because you are walking a thin line," Sam said before he glanced at us and walked off.
"What do you nerds want," Emma said.
"Just wondering what that was about," I said.
"I got Lucy locked up is that not enough," Emma said.
"Enough for what," I said.
"Never mind," Emma said before walking inside.
As the day went on I was with Jennifer whenever I could be and thankfully shared many of our classes together. We spent most of it passing notes or talking with each other occasionally getting caught by the teacher that we just giggled at. I got home and Jennifer sweet-talked my mother into letting her stay overnight announced and she accepted making me wish I could convince my mother like that.
Finally Wednesday arrived and I was feeling nervous about this I mean this is technically theft but just without any police getting involved if we are caught. Hopefully this distraction Jennifer mentioned is good enough to hold the attention of the target for more than enough time. I get into Avva's car and Lisa was there this time guess she got over her sickness yesterday and I was glad. When we got to the school Jennifer pulled out her phone and called someone up moments later a fight broke out in the car park. The four us hung back and soon I saw Sam join the crowd as he watched he let his bag slip to his feet, perfect.
Jennifer moved in being the only one that did not look out of place in a school fight and with frighteningly skilful work took his laptop. We hid the laptop in Avvas car as we couldn't leave the incriminating evidence on us and soon the fight was broken up and the kids were sent off to class. It had worked we had his laptop and he was none the wiser it couldn't have gone better the problem now was finding out how to get into his laptop without locking it. We got into one of the empty classrooms and we open the laptop and for whatever reason, he doesn't have a password. We quickly transfer all the files to a memory stick and then we left his laptop there for someone to find not like we needed or card about it anymore.
