I was sat next to Jennifer in our math class as we had a test me and Jennifer were practically cheating off each other for anything the other didn't understand. If the teacher actually played attention to us during a test we would have been totally caught by now but our teacher was old and sleepy. When the test was over I saw Jennifer lean back stretching her arms up and pulling her top with them and thanks to the top she was wearing her toned belly was exposed. I had to force myself not to stare at her she was seriously beautiful and I was now single not to mention that she had a thing for me so what was I afraid of?
I was hanging out with Avva later that day and she was saying very much the same thing as Lisa about me and Jennifer which was surprising for a number of reasons least of which is she didn't like Jennifer. I had on several occasions seen Avva scowl at Jennifer give her a dirty look and in some cases make a snide remark out loud about her. By the time it had got to lunch, I was eating the lunch my mother had left for me since cafeteria food makes me sick and doesn't look all that great either.
"Hey," Jennifer said as she sat next to me.
"Hi," I said a little dry.
"Something on your mind," Jennifer said picking up on my tone.
"Just what everyone has been saying today," I said.
"Someone taking bad about you," Jennifer said.
"No no it's just Avva and Lisa keep saying I need to make a decision," I said.
"Decision about what," Jennifer said.
"On whether or not I want to date you I mean I like you, I do but it's like I'm afraid of something," I said.
"I would never force you into anything," Jennifer said placing her hand on mine.
"I know that but it's not fair for me to put you through this given how we feel about each other it's not okay," I said.
"Maisy relax I don't mind waiting for a bit," Jennifer said.
"I know but it may not be a bit it could be months and I can't put you through the waiting because I know what it feels like," I said.
"I will wait until the world ends if it meant you would be mine after," Jennifer said as she gently kissed me it was hardly even a kiss more like she just put her lips on mine with no pressure.
I melted into her after she pulled away just leaning into her side as she wrapped her arms around me it did feel good being this close to her. Once I got home I saw my mother was there she was on the phone with someone but when she saw me she hung up almost immediately.
"Who was that," I asked.
"No one important," My mother said.
"Hey mum were you ever afraid before you entered a relationship with Dad," I asked.
"Of course, entering relations ships are always scary," My mother said.
"I guess," I said before going ing up to my room.
I called up Jennifer who answered after the third ring I was unsure of what to start but once I knew what I was going to do I spoke.
"Hey, you free this Friday after school," I asked.
"Yeah sure but why," Jennifer said.
"We're going out just the two of us," I said.
"You mean like a..." Jennifer started.
"Yes like a date so you in?" I said.
"Of course, I'd love to so where are we going," Jennifer said.
"Don't worry about that I'll handle it," I said before hanging up.
I lay back with a smile on my face I had just asked Jennifer out on a date not to mention she said yes now I just had to plan our date. I know that Jennifer likes raves, fights and anything rebellious problem is I'm not sure how to work with that. I could go traditional and take her out for food or a movie but I'm not a traditional kind of girl and never have been. I went to school the next day as I tried to figure out a way to find out what she was into without asking her outright. I did always have traditional as a backup plan that was until I remembered something that Avva said, something to do with her first date. I remember her telling me how good her date was the girl she was dating and then slept with at the time blew her off her feet. I tried to remember what she told me but I couldn't so I just decided to ask her about it and try and get off me taking Jennifer out ASAP.
"Hey Avva so I need a favour and I need it done discreetly," I said.
"Ask away," Avva said.
"Okay so I am taking Jennifer out on Friday and I need your help to plan the date," I said.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH," Avva said squealing like a kid getting a puppy for Christmas.
"What part of discreetly did you not understand," I said.
"Sorry sorry but this is huge," Avva said.
"I know so you gonna help or not," I said.
"Of course so you got any sense of what you want to do," Avva said.
"Actually I was hoping to recreate your first date like the first one you ever had, based on your description it was a magical evening," I said.
"Wow for a first date you are setting the bar kind of high but I respect that," Avva said.
"So anything I will need?" I asked.
"Well first off you will need to find a neutral location so not your place and not hers," Avva said.
"I think I know somewhere," I said.
"Good the second is a few decisions but I can handle that," Avva said.
"Anything else," I said.
"The final thing is a car," Avva said.
"Not hard if you trust me with yours," I said.
"Don't scratch the paint," Avva said handing me her keys.
