It was after our food that the second part of my date began but we did have to drive a bit more not that I was bothered Lucy had clearly put a lot of time into planning this. It was after a good hour that we had made it to our second destination it was a drive-in movie and we were early so we got some great seats. After stopping the car Lucy lowered the back of the seats and then pulled out a blanket and covered the both of us before snuggling up to me as the movie began and cars filled the area. As we watched the film I found myself with one arm around Lucy's shoulder with the other on her upper leg and my head resting on her shoulder as she had her arms around me it felt nice the warmth of her body with mine. I decided to be bold as for whatever reason being with her right now at this moment felt great so as a romance sean began to play I lifted my head up and placed a sweet passionate kiss on Lucy's cheek and her blush was practically glowing. I smiled and turned my attention back to the movie Lucy stayed looking at me for a bit before she too looked back at the film with a smile on her face. Once the film was over Lucy took me home and before I got out of the car I decided I might as well warn her about my mother.
"Hey so before I go I should let you know that my mom would like to meet you because it was only yesterday that she found out that I was gay," I said.
"Makes sense I suppose," Lucy said.
"Yeah so I'll tell her you would like to see her too but she has to wait a bit," I said.
"Sure but I have one last activity for this date," Lucy said.
I was about to ask what she could possibly have planned to do outside of my house until I felt her lips on mine. In truth this wasn't my first kiss but this was the first that I enjoyed it was sweet caring and above all gentle no force at all it wasn't long before I kissed back. Lucy pulled away a moment later and we both smiled at each other a blushing mess and we could help but smile at each other with a giggle.
"Goodnight love,' Lucy said before I got out.
"So how did it go," My mother said as I walked in.
"It was great we went rollerblading, had a meal then ended it with a movie at the drive-through," I said purposefully not telling her about the kiss.
"Well I'm glad you enjoyed yourself," My mother said.
"Thanks but it is late I'ma head to bed," I said as I headed to my room.
As I lay down I realised that until my mother comes to terms with the whole me being gay thing this is just the way it's going to be. I got out of bed the next morning and my mother had already left for work so I made myself a quick breakfast and then went back to my room. As I ate Avva called saying she wanted to hang out so told her to come over and of course, Avva said good morning by asking for details about my date without even letting me get a word out.
"You do know this is my love life I should be the one who is more excited than you not to mention the fact that I should also be the one rushing to tell you about it," I said.
"Yeah but you ain't and you won't so to get all the info I have to do all the asking," Avva said.
"And who says your entitled to any info," I said.
"The agreement of best friends," Avva said.
"Fine whatever," I said.
I told Avva a slightly more detailed description of last night than the one I had told my mom and she was way too happy about it and then she asked the all-important question.
"So she a good kisser or what," Avva said.
"It was probably the best kiss I have had so far," I said.
"Awwwww," Avva practically squealed.
"And if you ever tell her I told you that you'll regret it," I said.
"Sure sure," Avva said making us both laugh.
"Now for a taste of your own medicine how are things going with you and Lisa," I ask.
"Nice try but unlike you, I enjoy talking about my romantic and sexual outgoings but to answer your question Lisa is a closet freak I swear I figured out the code to her phone a week ago the amount of kinky photos she has all in a folder called To Make Joy it was almost a little unsettling," Avva said.
"Oh don't even I can tell that talking about that got your motor going after all you are probably the kinkiest girl in school," I said.
"Perhaps," Avva said.
After Avva had left for the day I took a shower and lay down on my bed with nothing but my music playing in my ears. As I closed my eyes and let my mind wander a few people's faces appeared in my head the first being Avva the second Lucy and finally Jennifer. Now very confused and extremely tired I left my mother a note saying I went to bed early before heading to bed.
