Lucy at top
I was in my room with Jennifer on Friday as we finished of our joint project I was mainly focusing on my oh so secret date tomorrow but nonetheless I was able to finish the project. Once we were done I told Jennifer I would hold on to the project and hand in on Monday on her behalf she nodded and left without a word. I waited for my mom to come home as since I have or will be having my first real date tomorrow might as well tell her it will be with another girl. My mom came home a little late I guess it was hectic at work properly not the best time to drop the I'm gay bombshell but my date was tomorrow so I don't really have a choice.
"Hey mom how was work," I asked.
"Alright for the most part," My mom said.
"Hey so mom I have a date tomorrow at around 7," I said.
"Really OH THAT IS WONDERFUL who is the lucky guy," My mom said.
"That's the thing, I have date with a girl tomorrow," I said.
"I see," My mom said pausing as an unbearable silence filled the room.
"I'm gay mom," I said after a while to break the silence.
"Well, I, just make sure you have fun," My mom said and I guess for now that was good enough.
That night I texted Avva that I told my mom about me having a date with another girl and how my mother reacted as I expected Avva was optimistic like she was about everything so I did feel a little better. I went to bed that night replaying the way my mother reacted and what Avva said about it I mean Avva is always optimistic but then again she is almost always right. The next morning I woke up at 10am and headed for the shower to wake me up once done I pulled on a fall-out boy t-shirt and a red and black hoodie with fishnet stockings and some short jean shorts. When I got downstairs for some breakfast my mother was at the table in the way she has where she wants a word and is polite enough to wait for me to come to her. In the past she did this when I had done something wrong and we both knew that she had found out and I wasn't going to be able to invade punishment "this time". Regardless I took a seat and waited for my mother to begin as I had practically said all that needed saying last night when I told her the situation with me and my date.
"I would like to meet her," My mother said after what felt like an eternity.
"Huh," I said a little confused.
"This girl you have fallen for, I would like to meet her," My mother said.
"Sure but at least let us get past the first date," I said.
"Yes I meant when you're ready but soon," My mother said.
I nodded and quickly made some toast before eating it in my room to avoid any more awkwardness and to let Avva know what happened she gets a stupid kick when she is confirmed to be right. Over the next few hours I talked with Avva as I waited for my date this being my first official date I was more nervous than anything else. Avva of course picked up on that and practically gave me a Shakespeare style speech to calm me down she didn't like it when I was worrying about something she didn't think is worth worrying over. It was around 7:20 when Lucy gave me a honk with her car to let me know she was there ready and waiting I grabbed my phone wallet and keys before heading out the door to see Lucy's car.
"Nice car," I said standing by the window bending down to her level.
"Nice legs," Lucy said giving me a wink.
"So are you just the driver or are you here to say my date could make it," I said.
"Very funny just hop in," Lucy said.
I got into the car and soon we were speeding down the road to the age of town and now I had a pretty good idea where she was taking me for our date or at least the first part. When Lucy finally did stop the car I gave her a smug smile and she just rolled her eyes as she got out the first stop was a roller rink another suggestion she must have gotten from Avva. The two of us walked in hand in hand with our fingers laced together and I have to admit my hand did feel good in hers. The two of us skated and danced with each other for a good 2 and a half hours it was after the third slow song that we sat down for some food. Lucy called over one of the waitresses and then she told me to order for the both of us I would have thought nothing of it if the colour hadn't drained from her face when she saw the waitress.
"Hey so is something wrong," I said after we had our food.
"Yeah, why wouldn't it be," Lucy said.
"Really I saw the way you reacted when that waitress came over," I said.
"Saw through that huh," Lucy said as she gave me a sweet smile.
"It wasn't hard the practically drained from your face," I said.
"I see," Lucy said.
"Did something bad happen between you two," I said.
"Something like that it's nothing serious but me and her dated for a bit it was good at first but soon became more of a parasitic relationship rather than a symbiotic one," Lucy said.
"That bad," I said.
"Yeah but I'd rather not talk about it," Lucy said.
"Oh right I'm sorry," I said.
"Don't worry about it after all I'm with you now," Lucy said as we began to eat.
