I was in the shower as I let the hot water wash away any doubts I had about today Jennifer had promised me two full days of nothing but fun. I got out of the shower and dried off before heading back to my room to get dressed Jennifer was downstairs talking up my mum. I would have talked to my mother myself if I had any worldly idea of how I was going to explain to Jennifer in my bed since I also hadn't told her I had broken up with Lucy yet. I just hope that Jennifer was either telling her a good excuse or the truth with a promise that she wouldn't ask me about it since I don't really want to talk about it. Once dressed I put on a small amount of make-up and headed downstairs getting a little more anxious with each step as I got there.

I looked into the kitten to see the two of them smiling at me that only added multiple questions to my anxious state. I sat at the table and my mum gave us both some breakfast, it was the quietest and most awkward meal I'm probably ever going to have. Once done I looked at my mother who still hadn't said a word the whole time she still had a smile on her face so I had to say something.

"So what did you two talk about?" I said.

"Oh nothing you need to worry about but I am now as far as your mother is concerned I am the best friend you will ever have," Jennifer said.

"And Avva is.." I said.

"The longest friend you will ever have," Jennifer said.

"Right well my longest friend will need her car back," I said leaving the table.

"Hey hold on," Jennifer said as she followed me out.

"Hey, are you mad at me?" Jennifer said as she sat in the car with me.

"No, I just my mom is neither here nor there with the whole my liking girls' thing, and then to see her smile at me like that, it was weird, now I don't want to know what you told her but something is worrying me," I said.

"What is it tell me and I can help," Jennifer said.

"I don't know so for now just forget it," I said pulling up to Avva's place.

"Hey, girl how was your date," Avva said as she opened the door.

"Good I'm just here to return your car," I said as I gave her the keys.

"Thanks anyway I'm kind of in the middle of something with Lisa so I'll see ya at school," Avva said.

"Yeah sure see ya," I said rolling my eyes knowing exactly what she was doing.

"So now what?" Jennifer said.

"Since my mom doesn't mind you sticking around guess we can go back to my place," I said.

"Right," Jennifer said.

I was walking back to my house when I froze at seeing someone that I hate more than anyone even more than Lucy.

"Hey Maisy, how ya doing?" He said with a shark-like grin.

"The hell do you want Sam," I said.

"Well I have a party this weekend like it if you could be there," Sam said.

"What makes you think I would ever go anywhere near you or your house after what you did," I said getting more pissed off every second.

"Oh come on you know as well as I do there is no proof of that," Sam said.

"BULLSHIT WE BOTH KNOW IT WAS YOU, YOU DISGUSTING PSYCHOPATH," I screamed at him as Jennifer began to put the pieces together.

"Well all I came to do was to invite you can't force you to come," Sam said as he walked passed me.

"What was that all about," Jennifer said.

"That bastard had a party last year and he raped a 15-year-old who got invited with her friends," I said as I tried to control my anger.

"He did what," Jennifer said her voice breaking.

"Come on let's go home I need a nap," I said as we head back to my place.

As I napped in my room I wanted Jennifer close so I had her lay down with me and had my arms wrapped around her. I knew I liked her and she did make me feel safe but how I really felt about her I was still figuring out so I can have this for now. Love was a trap I had fallen into once and I don't want to make that same mistake again it hurt enough the first time. My loving nap was interrupted by my phone going off I probably would have ignored it if it hadn't been the ringtone I set up for Avva.

"Hey," I said answering it.

"Yeah hey nothing, why did Sam tell me that you accepted an invite to his party," Avva said.

"I didn't he just saw me on the way back from yours and told me he was having one and invited me, obviously I told him to piss off," I said.

"Oh so he was trying to wind me up," Avva said.

"Yep sounds about right," I said.

"You know this could be a blessing in disguise," Avva said.

"How do you figure that one," I asked.

"Think about it an ass hole like that is having a party probably so he can stick again with another girl if we go to that part and catch him in the act..." Avva said.

"Okay hold it there, yes I would love to give that filth what he deserves but the cost of the evidence may be too high," I said.

"Yeah I guess you're right sorry," Avva said.

"Don't worry about it, I'll see ya at school," I said.

"Yeah see ya," Avva said.

"What was that?" Jennifer said.

"Avva was saying if we got to that party we could possibly catch Sam if he ties to rape another girl but to do that he would have to rape another girl," I said.

"Right I can see how that is a difficult choice," Jennifer said.
