We'd spent hours at the restaurant without realizing it and night time was just around the corner.
The sun indicated that it's time was coming to an end as it slowly vanished in the sky.
"What are you all doing? After we leave?" Asked Luke, half drunk yet still calm.
"Me and Lay kinda wanted to go to a bike show that's around the corner. Wouldn't mind if y'all joined. But it may be too cool for you lame-asses."
"Me and Ease will come." Said Luke as he hit Ease on the back harder than I think he intended to. Ease still half asleep did not react. Luke's hand with a beer in it moved towards me and Mah. "You two?"
"Uh—"
"Nah, we're going home."
Luke turned his head towards Bak.
"He's coming. Baks our bodyguard. Without that he'd be a useless fucker."
Parker teased Bak from across the table, showing their brotherly relations by blowing a raspberry at him.
Bak gritted his teeth back at him as if to scare him away.
"Okay you two dummies. Let's all go before we're too late for the show." Lay stood up and gave me her to go box to take home. "You and Mah be safe on the way home. Even though I know he's gonna protect you. That tumor ain't got shit on him."
She winked at Mah as she said so. He winked back and smiled.
They were like brother and sister. She was the sister Mah never really had. This made me smile.
"We will."
"I love you smexy."
"I love you."
Mah stood from the chair and pulled mines out. He grabbed my hand to help me stand. There he was again, coming to my assistance as if I were the sick one.
"Thanks."
We all made our way outside of the restaurant, said our goodbyes, and went our separate ways.
It kind of hurt to see them leave, in a sentimental way. It was kind of extra, I know. But I'd gotten attached to them almost as fast as I had gotten attached to Mah.
But my love for Mah was beyond comparison to anyone in this world.

We walked home. Play fighting flirtatiously. Talking about the future like we always did.
He'd spin me around like a queen. Make me feel like the only girl in this world. I'd made fun of him and he would pick me up and throw me over his shoulders. Even at his weakest he never seemed to struggle with carrying me around.
"Your birthday is coming up. What would my Superman want. A cape?"
"Superman only wants his Superwoman. And she's already by my side."
I stopped and the house stood before us. I turned to Mah and tilted my head upwards for my eyes to meet his.
My hands went to his head and gently moved it down towards mine. Getting on my tippy toes to do so.
This time I did not kiss him. I hugged him. I embraced his body. His arms slowly wrapped around me as this hug lasted forever.
"You're not gonna loose me. Why hug me for so long?" We stood locked in each other's arms having a whole conversation.
