This is a long one so go fetch some m&ms
Picture this
Keith and Lance are sitting on the fire escape and cuddled up to one another of some bar on top of a building (it doesn't exactly matter why)
The city lights along patches of pitch black bellow them sets a peaceful glow on the city. The lights brighten the horizon of navy blue, so that a light-ish dark blue blends into midnight blue, which blends into a pitch black
The stars stand out bold against the darkness, perfectly visible. Lance is resting his head on Keith's shoulder with his arms wrapped around his waist. Keith has his arm wrapped around Lance's torso, his other hand pointing out stars and constellations while he tells Lance about them excitedly
And Lance listening in with interest and asking about how he knows all this and Keith explains that his dad taught him all about the sky and stars and constellations when he was little and couldn't sleep
