She'd be the saddest she's ever been (#brocken)
Because this girl loves you and thought you would never betray her (which you didn't just go justify)
She'd distance herself from you and you wouldn't even know what's going on, until someone of your class asked you why you would cheat on El like that
Which makes you concerned and confused at the same time, since you never cheated on her and you don't know who would spread a rumour like that
Then you'd have to explain that something like that never happened. And ofc you know best how Eleven would feel and what she's been through, cheating on her would be one of the worst things for her emotionally because you're her comfort blanket
But you're having a hard time because she's still avoiding you
When would your relationship become normal again?

Max
She'd be upset
Like really upset
And you don't want to make Max upset
Because you don't
She confronts you and tries to seem angry while in reality she's just really hurt and sad
"Why would you pretend that you loved me when there was someone else the whole time?"
"Pretend? Max, what do you mean?"
"You already know, don't you."
Like there's an argument, not with screaming and swearing or stuff but more "whys" and whos"
After some time, her angry mask breaks and there's tears streaming down her face
"Y/N, why are you doing this to me?"
Then you stop arguing and walk up to her slowly and hug her, and she just stands there
After a little while she realizes that she's been crying and she wipes away her tears
After a little reassuring she starts seeing the situation a little differently
"I'm sorry for overreacting."
"You didn't overreact. I would be upset if someone told me that you were cheating on me too. I feel sorry for the person that's trying to split us up, since they don't seem to have someone that loves them. I'm here for you, Max, please trust me."
Then she hugs you back and nods into your shoulder, while mumbling a short
"I trust you."
