Steve
Calls you over first
"Hey, Y/N? There's something I would like to discuss with you. Do you have time?"
"Of course prince! I'll be right there!"
He flinches internally at the nickname
Are you really clueless or just pretending?
Then you knock on his door, making it known that you arrived
"Steve? I'm here! What's up?"
You say as he opens the door
"Come in please. I need to make something clear."
You feel like something is crawling up your back, eeee uncomfortable
"What's the matter? Are you alright?"
"No, not exactly Y/N. I really thought that you were a person I could put my trust into. Look, I know I've been a jerk for a really long time, but pretending you loved me even though I was a bully when you really didn't doesn't help the situation. I thought I did a better job at being nice to people, so what did I do wrong now?"
"Steve, what are you talking about? You never did anything wrong, you're perfect just the way you are."
"But apparently that wasn't enough for you?"
Your eyes widen
"W-What?"
"Why did you cheat on me?"
His voice is trembling by now
"Steve... Cheat? Who..."
"E/N... They've been telling everyone how they saw you together with a guy from the Basketball team. On the field, making out. Was I really just not enough for you this whole time?" (Pretend that this is when Steve is still at school ahahaha)
You stop the conversation to ask a question
"And when was I supposedly 'making out with that guy?'"
"Two days ago, around lunch. You really weren't with me around that time. 'I'll be right back' is what you said to me before you left.
You grin, and Steve's face turns confused
"W-Why are you smiling?"
"Because I have proof that E/N is lying. So like, you know how I have that monthly thing where I bleed from um... You know where?"
Steve nods
"Well, my point is that I haven't been on the field, but on the toilet. You can ask B/F/N (Best friends name), she was with me the whole time because I didn't have anything with me." (Just pretend you had your period even if you're not a girl I just wasn't smart enough to think of anything else 😭)
" O-Oh."
"Besides, you know that E/N is a snake. It's better not to trust anything they say."
Steve nods again
He just looks at you
And then charges at you to embrace you while lifting you in the air
"I'm sorry. I love you."
You wrap your legs around his waist
"I love you too Steve, always have, always will."

Eddie
He knocks on your door and of course you open, then you see the upset look on his face. His eyes are a bit puffy, and his hair is even messier than it normally is.
"Oh Eddie, what's wrong?"
You ask while walking up to him trying to wrap your arms around him, but he steps back
"E-Eddie?"
"Please, don't try to make it worse than you already did."
"W-What...?"
"I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed the time with you, but if I'm not enough for you anymore then I'm afraid it's time to say goodbye."
Your eyes start to water and tears slowly start running down your face
"Eddie, what are you talking about? Of course you're enough, you always have been! Why are you saying this?"
You say with a shaky voice while there's still tears (ahaha pain)
"Are you really not aware of anything that I'm saying right now? Or did you just forget how you cheated on me?"
Your eyes widen
"What do you mean I cheated?"
You say with furrowed brows
"With Steve. I thought you were just friends? I thought I could trust you and him. I guess my assumptions were wrong."
"Eddie, you know that I would never cheat on you with Steve?! He's been my best friend since like kindergarten, there's no way I would have something with him! Do you really think I'm that kind of person?"
Eddie hesitates, then he suddenly shakes his head
"No, I don't. I'm so stupid, I should've known not to trust E/N when they told me, but here I am. I'm sorry, this was wrong. Please forgive me for mistaking you like that."
Now it's your turn to hesitate
"Eddie look, I don't know what made you think that I would ever stab you in the back like that (BACK BACK BACK STABBER) but I'm here and you can trust me, I promise."
Now it's his turn to walk up to you and hug you, and you step back
Eddie looks at you, concerned, but then you grin and shake your head while walking into his direction too
"Come here."
You say with open arms, and he just bolts into them
