The Moon And His Star

In The Beginning

Before we begin our story we should talk about the main topic.

Soulmates.

Everyone has a Soulmate. Sometimes you meet them in one life.

Sometimes in each life you both live on this earth.

But some people don't meet their soulmate until after they die. In the after life were Anubis would unite them together.

That is what the God of moon Khonshu and the Goddess of the Night Nephthys were.

Soulmates.

Nephthys was the most radiant and the most beautiful Goddess Khonshu had laid his eyes on.

She was also the most helpful. Always helping out the other Gods and Goddesses which earned her a lot of respect amongst them.

She was most proud of her stars in the night sky that would float around Khonshus moon.

She did keep her distance from the moon God as the other Gods werent too sure about him. Nephthys mostly tried to keep to herself anyway.

Khonshu did many things his own way. Not following the rules and angering the Gods at times.

Nephthys, although she never dared go against the others did agree with how Khonshu did things. He dealt with matters in his own hands and she liked that.

The two would glance at each other from afar. There was no doubt they both had taken a liking to each other.

But their was another god that had his eye on Nephthys. Osiris took quite a liking to the Goddess as he would also sometimes watch her from a distance. Even though he was already married to Isis.

Khonshu was tired of the constant stares that happened between the two of them. He wanted to be with Nephthys so he decided to make a move.

Nephthys looked down at the ground shyly as the big bird stood infront of her.

"Uh...Hello" he said seeming nervous. He had practiced what he would say a thousand times. But standing in front of her made him forget all he wanted to say.

All he could see was her radiant beauty and the way she looked in his moonlight took his breath away.

"Hello Khonshu are you well? Do you need help with anything?" She asked him.

Khonshu chuckled it was so like his Nephthys to offer help. Her kindness a part of her.

"Well yes actually i was wondering if you'd like to watch the moon travel the world with me." He asked her.

Nephthys smiled widely and thus their forbidden love had begun.

Both Khonshu and Nephthys snuck around whenever they could. They made sure the other Gods never caught on.

Khonshu seemed alot more happier ever since he got with Nephthys.

Even the other Gods noticed that there was a change in him. Which did worry them slightly.

But all good things can come to an end if your not careful enough. Their love was one of them.

Osiris had caught them. They were laying on the sand gazing up at the stars. He only got suspicious when they started gazing at each other lovingly.

They both turned into their human like forms before kissing each other. Osiris' eyes widened as he scurried back to Amun-Ra the king of the Gods.
