Jamila was grinning like crazy whilst she was on the phone call to her uncle. "I cant wait to see you layla. Give my love to Uncle Abdallah." Jamila said. "Have a safe flight and come soon." Layla told her equally as excited.
Once jamila ended the call. She went to go get some food. "Can i just have a cheese panini ple- "flight 255 to Cairo Egypt ready to go in two minutes." The voice over the speakers spoke.
"Oh god just a che-" "heres 1.50 my flights leaving." A tall man just cut in front of her. "Excuse me i was here first." Jamila exclaimed.
The man turned around his face was stern at first but when he saw the beautiful girl in front of him he smirked. "Sorry princess. But I'm in a hurry." He said as he walked away without a care in the world.
Jamila huffed "forget it." She said as she dragged her suitcase away from the puzzled worker and headed off to her flight departure. She boarded her plane and texted layla quickly before she had to put her phone away.
"Oh god." Jamila said nervously. She hadn't been on a plane for some time now. The first time was when she moved to london with her mum. The second time when she went back to Egypt. She was nineteen and her mother had died.
It was a bad memory and she had come back to the UK to focus on her studies. She wanted to be and archaeologist like her mother and uncle.
She had never really travelled to Egypt until now. She was gonna join her uncle and older cousin on her first expidition.
She broke from her thoughts when someone had come over and put their things in the upper compartment. The man then sat down beside her and she recognised him from earlier.
"Oh hello princess. What a small world huh?" The american man said. Jamila raised her eyebrow "yep way too small." Jamila commented as she folded her arms.
"I hope you learned some manners on your way over here." She mumbled. "Im sorry what was that princess. Why dont you speak a little louder." The man said.
Jamila rolled her eyes. "Dont call me princess." She said.
"Well if you give me your name I'll call you by that." The man said. Jamila turned to the window. This was going to be a long ride.

Four hours and fifty minutes.Four hours and fifty minutes the two bickered back and forth. This annoying american man seemed to take some kind of sick pleasure as he annoyed the young british girl next to him.
When the flight landed Jamila sighed in relief as the man stood up and got his things.
Jamila followed as she got her bag and stepped into the heat. She was just thankful she was away from him.
She got her bag and stepped out to see layla and her uncle waiting for her. They both jumped up and down as they saw her.
Jamila grinned widely as she ran to them. "Ahlan wa sahlan Jamila." Her uncle greeted. "Shukran ya Aam." Jamila said back.
She then turned to her cousin and hugged her. "Wow you're so much more taller than me." Jamila said. "Well i am older than you." Layla said. "Only by two years!" Jamila exclaimed.
Her uncle chuckled. "Come on lets go home. I made you tarb, mahshi, chicken feteer and for dessert qatayef." He said as they walked to his car.
"Great cause i am super hungry i couldn't get anything to eat before my flight cause some rude man interrupted me." She told them as she put her suitcase into the boot of the car.
Jamila saw as they came closer to her mother and uncles house. "Remember Jamila this house is yours just as much as ours. Your mother and i grew up in this house." Her uncle told her.
It was huge almost like a mansion. the garden was huge full of flowers and greenery.
There was a koi pond near a small statue of a cat.
"We can also visit your mothers grave. I know its been some time since you've visited." Her uncle said. Jamila remained quiet for a bit as she looked outside of the window.
"Of course Aam. I would love to see her again." She commented.
Her uncle parked in the garage. And the girls got out and ran inside whilst Abdallah turned off the car and got Jamilas suitcase before entering the house himself.
"Now remember girls. In two days we leave for the valley of the kings. We start our first expidition there." Their uncle said.
"Oh how exciting this is your first expidition." Layla told her. "I know. Thank you guys for giving me this opportunity." Jamila said happily.

"Girls this is Raoul Bushman and Marc Spector. They will be with us throughout this journey." Abdallah said.Jamila had froze when she saw Marc Spector. Even Marc froze when he saw her.
Of course they would recognise each other. They were sat besides each other on the plane for four hours and fifty minutes.
The group began to set up there tents. "Fuck. Fuck. Fuck." Jamila whispered to herself. Not him. She thought to herself.
Someone cleared her throat behind her and she jumped slightly. She turned around to see Marc.
"You need help with that?" He asked. "What the hell are you doing here? Are you following me?" She spat out.
Marc chuckled. "Princess as much as i would love it. The world does not revolve around you." He said.
Jamila scoffed as he walked away.
Layla walked over to her. "What was all that about." She said. "It was him. The man on my flight. The annoying man on my flight." Jamila told her.
Layla chuckled. "Come on Jamila you'll get over him soon enough. We have much important things to do." Layla told her.
This was in fact not true.
Marc had done every possible thing to annoy Jamila. She tried to keep her distance but Marc just wouldn't let her and followed her around like a lost puppy most of the time.
Other than that her work with her uncle and cousin was extraordinary as they discovered gold and jewels in caves and tombs.
Jamila smiled widely as she discovered her first ever box of gold. She showed her uncle and Marc would never forget this one moment in her life.
Because this one moment would be the start of many more with him.
