"Maybe wearing black in the sun wasn't the best idea." Jamila said as the heat hit her. "You look ravishing." Marc said as he eyed her body up.
"Oh stop it." Jamila huffed as she lightly smacked him. They both chuckled before Marc said "anything you say my british crumpet."
Jamila scoffed. "Okay i let you get away with calling me star and princess, but british crumpet is where i draw the line." She told him.
Marc continued chuckling as he shook his head at her. "Why are we meeting up with layla again?" Marc asked as he looked around once they had reached the bazaar.
"Shes gonna help us that's why." Jamila explained as she looked at the tiny bracelet and trinket the stall owner was showing her.
"Oh luna would love these." Jamila said. "Bekaam / ad ey?" Marc asked the man. "One hundred fifty Egyptian pounds." The man told them.
Marc took out his money and paid the man as he put the jewellery in the bag and handed it to them. "She's not even here yet?" Marc complained as he was getting impatient.
"Patience is a virtue Marc." Jamila commented. "We dont have time to sit around and wait. We need to find Harrow before he finds Ammits tomb or find Ammits tomb before Harrow." Marc said.
"Why dont you keep a look out for her and call me when she's here." Jamila told him.
"No way im leaving you alone." Marc said as he held her arm before she could get away. Jamila giggled "marc I'll be right here." She said as she took his hand off of her.
Marc reluctantly watched her go.

It had been some minutes later when Jamila felt a tap on her shoulder. She looked to her side and saw a grinning layla stood their with luna who had a mouthful of cookies.
"Oh luna." Jamila said as she used her hand to wipe lunas face.
"Wheres Marc?" Layla asked. Jamila looked to where he was last. "He was over there last?" Jamila noticed he wasn there anymore.
"Oh fuck." Jamila looked around and couldn't find him. "Marc?" She called out. "Marc!" She said as she walked around the bazaar to find him.
"Oh god where is he? He wouldn't just pick up and leave would he?" Jamila asked layla.
Layla gave her a sympathetic look. "Im gonna kill him." Jamila commented.
Just then they heard a yell. They turned to see Marc fighting off some guys. "Or they might kill him first." Layla said.
Jamila turned to glare at her. "Sorry." Layla said.
Jamila sighed. "Stay here with luna." She said as. ran to where Marc was.
"Mama." Luna whined after her mother. "Its okay little moon. They'll be back." She said as she tried distracting her with trinkets and juice in a bag.
"Marc!" Jamila called out as she saw Marc with a bloodied knife in his hand. Dead bodies lay around him.
Marc looked at her. He looked psychotic. But the most disturbing thing was he looked happy and was grinning.
"Marc?" She repeated. "Its good to see you again. Princesa." He smiled at her before his eyes rolled back.
Jamila gasped. She had heard that accent before. It was when Marc would go through that weird phase of his accent changing. He even managed to speak Spanish at times.
Although now Jamila realised that may not have been true.
He would become a whole different person and at that time Jamila didnt understand why. But she didn't know Steven existed either.
