Yoongi's pov

By the time the CIA's top-secret software project had been successfully finalized, so was the escape plan. Yoongi, Jungkook, and Taehyung, along with the other people that joined them had managed to plot the escape plan.

Nothing of it could have been possible without the professor's help. He had always been there for the team, acting as their eyes and ears, providing them with information, keeping them aware of the potential threats, and giving them proper advice.

At that point, patience was one of the aces hidden in their sleeves. Waiting for the most opportune moment was exactly what they had to do unless they wanted the FBI to expect an attack.

Therefore, the breakout date was settled to the end of January, the 28th to be more precise. The date that wasn't holding any special meaning, it was just an ordinary winter day.

And so the day came faster than a blink of an eye, and when it came, the whole team was ready.

When the day arrived, they were ready. All of them went through their particular tasks repeatedly, focusing on what they were best at while considering the fact that the plan could go wrong at any given moment.

Yoongi was extremely perceptive. He liked to have a backup plan for everything, that's why he made sure to create at least one plan b for every possible situation.

Having Romeo, his friend, on his side was also a huge asset to Yoongi and his team. Without his help, their plan would have been convicted to failure.

He was now hidden, waiting outside of the CIA quarters, alongside a great number of men, ready to act at any moment.

At the moment, the team was located inside a huge, abandoned farm building. Its location was pretty close to the CIA building, where the microchip was secured, approximately one mile. The very reason why they were all shaking hands with death right now.

The building was massive but deserted looking. They positioned their portable equipment there, which required under five minutes to be collected before any danger occurred.

The operation was well planned, but they had to be working contretemps, divided into two main units.

The first unit was led by the professor, working inside the CIA quarters and in a different location. They were to remain there, trying to cover the other unit's steps as much as they could.

The second unit, which was led by Yoongi's alias Miles Gilbert, was the escape team. They were readying themselves to steal the microchip and run away with it as far and quickly as possible.

Felicia was one of the CIA agents helping them. She was part of Yoongi's unit, and she was responsible for controlling the security cameras, alongside Sonbin. Sonbin was to leave the US with the rest of Yoongi's unit, while Felicia was to stay behind in the US, to make sure the CIA was not going to be able to track them down too soon.

The professor, along with five other people, was in a different location; unknown to Yoongi and the others, so as to not be suspected after the operation was completed.

He was communicating with them via disposable phones and they were even able to send each other files without being exposed, using a private network.
