"I don't think she's coming back" Kim settled her hairs "it's getting dark, we need to find her"
The D-10s were banging the door real bad. Staying near the car on the boundary was risky. Specially at night.
They needed to get- ..somewhere, I don't know where, but definitely not here."She's right, the door cannot hold them much longer" Charlie whispered.
"Harold, do not let Kim out of your sight, she will be in the middle" Steve sounded like the new leader "Charlie, stay at the back of the trial, I'll be in the front"
"Lead the way" Charlie nodded.
Few blocks later..
"We need to get rid of this one" Steve said, in a low voice.
"Yeah, that one just doesn't move" Charlie agreed. The crew was at this point fed of the zombie near the block who had been standing there for past twenty minutes and was technically blocking their way.
"You think he's homeless? You know, D-10s are pretty much humans, so maybe they have the poverty too" Kim said.
Charlie was standing behind Kimberly while Steve and Harold were at the front. I think they did that on purpose because Kim just doesn't shut up.
"Kimberly, you're gorgeous but if you don't stop talking I'll push you right away on the road, inbetween those zombies"
"Try that and I will attract all of them towards us right freaking now and we could all go to the beautiful Heaven together, so DON'T TRYNA SCARE ME"
Charlie was.... impressed. He smiled. Harold turned around and did a "shush"
"What? He started it" Kim pointed at Charlie.
Kim was busy clearing her mind actually. She was having a hard time with all the memories just like Lil. The last time Kim was here, she was in a car, with lots of money and nothing be afraid of. She has plenty of memories with every single place in town. Being one of the most popular kids in the school, she had many friends and side characters who were obsessed with her for no reason.
Maybe time really does bring all the changes.Steve was figuring out how to kill this D-10 on the way. If this one is picked out, then most of the way is clear untill the little camps near the children park.
"Harold! The moment this zombie turns around, I'll grab him from behind and you can cover his mouth" Steve narrowed his eyes "and then we can drag him here"
They can't use the guns, for the obvious reasons of course. Notice pollution issues."What? Why here?!" Kim jumped.
"To get him out of the sight. So that no one sees us FAIL while murdering this guy" Charlie didn't agree this time "no one can kill the D-10s. It's really difficult until you tear them apart or use the poison Uncle John invented"
"Can we atleast slow him down? Wound him?" Kim questioned.
"We can try, there's no other way" Charlie sighed "I once tried murdering one"
"Then what happened"
"Nothing love, a few minutes later I ran for my life and got stuck in Rundaile for months"
Harold gulped.
Maybe this is a bad idea. Steve, it's okay to have second thoughts."Here goes nothing" Steve tip toed and jumped on the zombie from behind. The zombie opened his huge mouth to bite the arms holding him.
Harold tied a cloth tightly around the open jaws for the zombie which could barely cover his saber teeth.
Charlie took his hammer and bam! Headshot on zombie.
