Bloody Hell

Chapter 6: The Ceremony

"catch her, put her in the cage.    Punishment, late night" Maria declared.

"Omg, if it wasn't gonna work, why did that kid even try" Kim said.

"That was like a suicide mission. That girl is an orphan, her mind would've been washed away by her lonely thoughts. And obviously, no one likes living here" Michael explained.

"Okay! So the Ceremony starts late night, who's gonna stay in to watch it?" Lil asked.

"Seriously? Do you not have any least bit of concern about saving that little girl?" Tabitha folded her arms.

"There's nothing we can do" Aron explained " we've been through the same punishment, only difference is that we ran away inbetween the ceremony"

"And don't even think about it if you wanna get out of here alive. Dead because of zombies? Acceptable. Dead because of senseless Maria rules? Not accepted" Lil shook her head

" ..so what exactly happens in this punishment" Tabitha looked at Michael.

"Well... They obviously beat you up, a lot,then tie you up and throw you out of the building, so that the zombies can eat you alive...."

That night...

"Here, take these, she has many of these guns, I don't think she would notice if a few are gone" Michael handed them the stolen weapons.

"Finally! This mission took like...whole afternoon?" Fred was exhausted.

"Thankgod, finally some sleep. Big  day tomorrow!" Lil hopped in her tent.

Steve followed her. In a minute Fred and Kim decided to go to sleep too.

In a few minutes, screams were heard, the little girl was taken away...

Tabitha's overthinking was on its highest peak. She couldn't swallow the fact that a 14 year old girl was thrown away to get eaten by blood thirsty monsters.
Her round lips made her face really expressive.
And yeah...Aron was worried about this uncommon girl he's just met. I mean, how could he just leave his one chance to impress her.

"Hey..." Aron kept a hand on her shoulder.

"Don't...I just...I can't let her die, not atleast after knowing the fact that she can still be saved, she's still alive Aron.."
That's it! The moment Aron heard his name in her voice he was ready to do anything.

"C'mon" Aron took her hand.

"Where are we going?"

"You'll find out" Aron winked.

They went inside Kim and Fred's tent.

"Can't sleep" Tab looked at Kim.

"Me either" Kim twisted her lips downwards.

"Then ladies and gentlemen, let's go save that girl down there" Aron declared.

..

"Shhhh, there's a guard" Aron whisper while making his way downstairs.

"What if we get caught? Or worse, what if Lil finds out?" Kim shouted in a hushed tone.

"Oh I can't care less" Aron is just so carefree, now I understand why Lil hates him.

"We're almost....on the ground floor" Fred was excited doing something illegal in his life for the first time. Ah, you know nerdy kid explores the vice world.

"Wait! Someone's coming!" Kim whispered as Aron hid Tabitha behind him.

"Uhm.. first,is she the only one you care about? And second, someone's coming from behind, the ground floor is clear you moron!" Kim murmured.

Before Aron could change his position and turn behind, they were caught.....

.....by Lil.

"You guys fucking crazy?" Lil lowered her voice as soon as she realised her voice was too loud "are you guys out of your minds? All of you?"

"We can't okay? We can't leave that girl to get eaten by some forever hungry freaks!" Kim protested.

"Yeah but you guys are ready to become an easy bait for those guards who always keep waiting for one mistake by the people here so that they can have fun killing them. So hell yeah! I'd prefer letting that half dead girl die!" Lil seemed furious.

"And that's exactly why we didn't invite you and your pretty little new boyfriend" Aron smiled.

"You as-!" Before Lil could kill her own brother, Steve held her from behind.

"We're in the middle of the danger! Hurry guys, let's save her or we came this far for nothing" Tabitha...my favourite girl, always so mature.

"Yeah let's go" Aron jumped away.

Outside...

"Just in time, get up... whatever your name is" Aron helped the girl get up. Her freckles weren't visible anymore because of the scares,all over her body.

"Hurry!" Lil was seriously worried, there's no way an evil would spare a second chance to punish them.

"She's 40 percent dead already! You seriously..." Lil couldn't find any sense in saving this unknown girl.

"Carry her! Yeah this way!" Steve took the girl inside the building, placing her in a corner. She licked her lips and tried to whisper a thankyou.

"Uhhhh guys...I think someone spotted us" Kim caught a head popping from the balcony.

"Looks like it's over... We gotta run!" Lil shouted.

"But...no we can't! Lil all our supplies and weapons!! It's all up there in our tents!" Fred cried.

"No time smart people! That's why I never go on an unplanned operation with no-brain people" Lil looked at Aron when she said "no-brain".

"This way!" Steve made sure the exit area was clear by taking down two of the main guards. I mean, for a hottie with such great muscles and strength, it's no big deal.

"You're not alone buddy!" Fred knocked another guy with a baseball bat.

"Where'd you find that bat?" Tabitha asked.

"Exactly where I found this. Ta-da!" Aron had a guitar in his hands.

"They kept this?" Lil was shocked. The guitar belongs to Aron. Ofcourse he couldn't take anything with him when he was on an escape run with his sister.

When all six of them were finally out, Lil turned around to give a final look to the building.
She noticed Maria on the terrace, standing with the worst look in her eyes.

"So long, Granny!" Lil shouted.

"Now what are we supposed to do in this jungle in the dark with zero weapons and with zero idea about the future and! With those hungry zombies!" Kim screamed, obviously because of the zombies who were awake because of the chaos........
