He awoke suddenly to the voice of Theo shouting in his ear, his deep sleep fading away as his eyes snapped open. He blinked his eyes as the blur in front of him slowly formed into a face. Alax groaned, "Theo, what do you want?" he asked half heartedly.

"Time for breakfast mate, it's the start of a new day," Theo said.

Right breakfast. To that Alax made more of an effort to wake himself up, eager to begin what he considered his new life. Theo returned to his side of the room and began to change into his own uniform. Alax did the same, hiding behind his dressing screen as he removed his pajamas, and put on his uniform, wrapping his tie around his white button shirt and throwing his sweater vest over him. He had on black slacks that felt firm on his legs, but not too tight. He then grabbed his cloak, freshly cleaned and finely sewn, the green Slytherin snake patch staring back at him. He rubbed the patch, smiling at the intricate design of green black and silver, which was astounding and impressive to him. Next to him was a dresser that held a full size mirror, his reflection staring back at him, his hair hardly needing any adjustments other than him waving his hand through it.

He felt comfortable in green and wrapped in the snake colors. His mother will be proud that he made it into Slytherin. After that he grabbed his bookbag and followed Theo out of the room, and onward to the great hall. He walked into the great hall for the second time, following Theo and his cousin Draco to the table of Slytherin. He passed by the the kids, some of them speaking to him with good mornings and Hi's to which he would say it back. They were being quite friendly with him so far, asking him questions as he sat down, gauging what type of Slytherin he'll be. "There's the new boy," he would hear, somewhat feeling nervous with the looks he was getting. He was the odd one out of all the new students who arrived this year since he was added to the year twos, and from what he could tell, many of them were curious of him. He was curious about them as well. He hadn't had many interactions with kids his own age, and he was curious how other kids of the wizarding world were like.

Breakfast was something he enjoyed in the morning, mainly because the elves that worked in his family's kitchens always surprised him with the different meals. He was expecting something similar at Hogwarts, knowing they have to feed all these people. The Carrow twins sat next to him, introducing him to the other Slytherins in their class. He gorged himself on bacon, sausage and fried eggs, baked buttered rolls, and beans, washing it down with a large cup of orange juice. His meal was interrupted when a tall Slytherin girl approached him, her green skirt pressed and clean, swaying as she moved and her long dark hair lining down her back. It was the girl from his common room, his house prefect, Gemma Farley. She gave him his timetable, after seemingly eyeing him up and down before leaving the Great Hall with her friends. As he became more familiar with his tablemates a loud shrieking voice from the Gryffindor table took all their attention. A ginger haired boy was being yelled out by what people called a hauler. The thing had the voice of an angry woman, and the Weasley boy looked terrified. Apparently the boy stole his fathers car and flew it to school. That was bold, and Weasley looked like someone who would turn tail when trouble arrived.

"Weasley would get into trouble when the year just started," Draco said, prompting laughter from his table.

"A howler already Weasley, you can't help it can you," a Slytherin shouted to the Gryffindor table prompting more laughter from their table.

Once that was done, breakfast ended, and it was time for his first class of the day, and he couldn't help but be excited.

Charms with Professor Flitwick.

Theodore led him up the stairs to the third floor, making their way to classroom 99 in the south tower. Their classroom was narrow and uniquely set up differently than the other rooms. The desks were lined up in rows against the wall, the row closest to the back being elevated above the rest. The professor's desk was towards the end of the room which meant they would have to crank their necks to the side just to look at him. The room had an old feel to it, especially with the brownish tint that permeated throughout the room.
