"Your hair's gotten so long, Prince."

Alax knew the moment he decided to wait in the common room, he would soon be met with his favourite upperclassmen, who just so happen to be a couple Slytherin girls.

"I like it long," said Gemma, playing with his golden strands and rubbing it like it was fine silk.

"I don't, it hides his face," Cindra said back, tugging at the bangs hanging just above his forehead. Cindra's own hair was like his own, blonde and shiny, and was at the same length as his, while hers was styled versus Alax who simply looked like a feathered mop head.

"Just don't pull out any strands, okay?" he said, hoping he wouldn't need to invest in a bottle of hair growth.

"Aww, we'll be careful Prince," said Ruby, a charming, pale skin witch with red-wine hair trailing all the way down her back.

He had been approached by an eager Marcus Flint, the Slytherin captain of the Quidditch team, who came with an important question.

Due to Draco's arm being in a sling, he won't be able to play in any upcoming matches, so Alax agreed to stand in as his replacement.

He was now waiting for Tracey to appear, who decided to join him when he went down to the quidditch pitch to meet with Madam Hooch. When he first came down, he had Daphne go up and fetch her, only for Tracey to say she needed a few minutes to get ready.

That was ten minutes ago.

"You heard him, Cindra, don't be so rough with him," said Ruby.

Cindra rolled her blue eyes.

"Why would I scalp the boy, his hair is one of his best features," Cindra clapped back. "Besides, I bet Alax is the type of boy who likes it rough."

Alax soon took on the shade of a boy burned by the sun, somewhat knowing what she meant by that and feeling embarrassed.

In a pitch higher than he liked, he shuffled forward squealing out, "what," which caused the three girls to giggle, with Ruby pulling him back against the couch so she could reach his hair.

Of course this was drawing the attention of a few others in the common room, that being Draco, Theo, Blaise, and Tomas.

The comotion of three girls giggling loudly would draw any curious eyes, and the eyes that were on him were causing him embarrassment.

He would glance to the side every so often to see snickering reactions from his friends.

He sighed and rolled his eyes when he heard them, and when he saw Tracey trotting down from the girls dorm, he gave a silent thank you.

Her hair was neatly combed and tied in a ponytail, and she was wearing a black turtleneck with a black coat over it, with her green scarf being the only colour standing out.

When she spotted him she quickly made her way over while visibly giddy.

"Okay, I'm ready," she said.

"Great," was all he could say, freeing himself from the latches of Cindra, Ruby, and Gemma.

"Awww, leaving so soon?" Cindra asked, with a pouty look.

"Sorry, have a meeting with Madam Hooch," he told her.

"Oooh, quidditch business, do tell me I can expect to see you playing? Alax," Gemma asked.

"I'm about to find out."

It was a cold Saturday morning with the air of frost having given the school a foggy atmosphere.
