The new boy in school found himself relaxing under the shade of a tree in one of the school's courtyards during one of his breaks from class, thinking back to a moment earlier today. He had been making friends quite well so far, friends mostly in his house as that was easier for him to manage, but he found himself being approached to students from other houses, as well, surprisingly. Whether it was to introduce themselves to the heir of House Prince, or they wanted to get to know him for their own reasons, Alax was still trying to figure out. He was aware of house rivalries, and his house was one people were wary of because of their reputation, but as Alaxandr was quickly finding out, he was becoming quite popular within the school just from his name alone.

Colin, once learning who he really was, even came up to him at one point and asked to take his picture as a way to memorialize the first Prince in ages to attend Hogwarts in the school paper.

The boy was bombarding Harry with questions at the time, but when he caught sight of Alaxandr, he excused himself from Harry and quickly ran up to him. It was a surprise at first as Colin made quite the show of detailing why it was important to capture this moment in history as he called it.

This had caused a group to form around Alaxandr as it seemed Colin was the catalyst for people to finally approach him. Apparently, people were a little intimidated by him, or at least the name he was blessed with and were hesitant to approach him, but seeing the hyperactive photographer do what they couldn't, motivated them.

Alax brushed his hair with his hand, making it look as neat as he could, and gave his best charming smile as Colin took the picture. His cheek puffed as his dimples became pronounced, his eyes seemed to sparkle as sunlight hit them, and his rosy lips separated as his perfect teeth were on display. This had been an expression he was taught to make, his mother made him quite aware of his fine features, and how to use them to his advantage. He was a natural good looker, and from the way people gazed at him seemed to cement that. The flash of the camera startled a few people as they passed by, quickly realizing it was just Colin with his usual antics.

"Wow, this is a good picture," Colin said.

"It might even make Teen Witch Weekly," the boy said eagerly.

"Careful Colin, you'll inflate Prince's ego to that of Professor Lockhart levels with the way you're giving him attention," Theo had said.

Alax didn't fail to notice all the gawking girls who were just watching them, or mainly him. His smile seemed to have caught their notice. He also noticed Harry and his group were watching as well. Guess they had some interest in him too. Ron had an expression that said, 'what was the big deal,' while Harry looked thankful to not be the center of Colin's attention, and Hermione was giving him a look he remembered her giving Lockhart, like all the girls.

That surprised him as he tried to hide his blush, but he was basically surrounded by students with him being the center of their attention.

Luckily Theodore noticed the building crowd and made an excuse to get him away from them.

With that the two boys found a nice tree to sit under as they began to study through their potions book his focus was broken by the sounds of a commotion in front of him. A flurry of red and green colors seemed to be clashing head to head with each other. He was familiar with quidditch, though he's never played it, and apparently at Hogwarts, the sport was heavily popular. Because of this he was quite curious about the standoff between the two teams that appeared before him, mainly because standing on the fresh dew grass were the two teams said to be rivals. Theodore looked up from his book and spotted the interaction as well, saying, "uh oh," and picked himself up from the ground, and moved towards the two adversary groups. Alax decided to stay back and watch how things played out.
