A/N:

HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYONE. I WANTED TO GET AT LEAST ONE CHAPTER OUT BEFORE THE YEAR WAS OVER SO I PACKED THIS ONE NICE AND FAT. ENJOY AND HAPPY BELATED CHRISTMAS!!!!!!

Alaxandr Prince, a boy with feathered-golden hair, sat in a moving black car counting down how long they were driving.

"So, father gave you your task this year?" he heard his sister ask. He turned to see his eldest sister, sitting on the other side of the car, staring out the window.

"Yes," he said.

"And?" she asked.

"Well, I have to discover the identities of the descendants of Hogwarts founders," he said.

"Ha, like trying to find a needle in a haystack, I see now the reason father allowed you to attend Hogwarts," Victoria said, finally turning away from the window and looking at her brother for the first time. Alax had been waiting for her to face him fully, to see how she was reacting.

"The best way to better your search is by befriending as many people as you can, how's that going?" she asked. "I know your friends with, The Boy Who Lived... and the Weasleys... not much can be expected of them...

Alax looked at her, but didn't say a word.

"Probably the descendants of some no name wizard," she said with a chuckle, "you definitely need to broaden your search, pay attention to the students with the best marks, I'm sure descendants of the founders of Hogwarts will want to prove themselves in the very school they could call their own," she said with slight loathing.

"Well, from what I've seen from my first year, none of them really stood out to me, and for all I know, the descendants have graduated by now," he said.

"Better not tell father that, he might just pull you out of school," Victoria said.

They soon arrived at Charing Cross Road, with swift ease, the chilly morning winds whipping their faces when they stepped out.

Alax wrapped his coat closer to himself as he looked around, eyeing the area, which was basically deserted.

"So, are you sure you're going to be alright by yourself, I can always stay with you until it's time for you to depart?" Victoria said.

"I'm sure sis, but I'm meeting some friends here at the Leaky Cauldron," he said.

"Oh yeah, who?" she asked.

"Just some fellow housemates," he told her, quickly brushing aside her question.

"Slytherin housemates? I wonder," she said, eyeing him with slick eyes. He looked away so she couldn't see him blushing.

"Alright, I guess you can watch out for yourself, Merlin, help anyone who tries to mess with you," she said.

"Exactly," he said back, beaming a youthful smile. "Want to say goodbye to Salem before we leave?"

His sister nodded her head and rounded on his luggage carrier to the cage that held a black cat inside. Victoria bent down to look at the black furball that started to stir.

"Hey there Salem, be a good girl for Alax now, you're in his care," she said. Great blue eyes watched Victoria before the cat let out a soft meow and licked at her paws.

"Take care of her, Bella will be quite sad if anything happens to her," Victoria said.

"I will."

With that his sister disappeared inside the car they arrived in and was driven away back to their home, leaving Alax to begin his short journey to the Leaky Cauldron.
