Alax yawned as his eyes opened on the first day of school. As much as he was excited, he didn't feel like moving; his bed felt too comfortable and his pillow was like a giant fluffy marshmallow.

He wished he could stay longer and just sink into his bed, but it would be in poor taste if he decided to be late or even skip class.

With a groan, he threw back his dark green covers, with a black underside, then stretched his arms to the ceiling and walked to his dresser, pulling back his drawers as he took out his new uniform, a pair of regal Slytherin robes, a higher quality than his original robes.

Holding his clothes, from across the room, he could see Theodore quickly stirring awake. He left the dorm room and made for the washroom, taking a quick shower then returning to his room to see Theodore grabbing his uniform.

"Morning," Alax said to him.

"Morning," he said back with a yawn.

Theo had grown older over the summer like Alax, growing taller with more of his black locks growing in.

He was still pale yet his face was showing signs of his loss of plumpness with his jaw being more defined.

"Go on without me, I'll be done soon," Theo said.

Alax planted himself at the Slytherin table within the Great Hall, relaxing his arms to his side, as he watched students filling in.

Some of those students came together in groups, one of those lot being students in resplendent green robes that at a glance, were better quality then the standard robes.

Alax was quickly spotted and was soon surrounded by green.

The rest of his group did the same as they all surrounded him.

Pansy, who had herself attached to Draco's arm, Daphne and Tracey, all sat next to Alax. Theo, Blaise, Bryce, Lolly, Rosewood, and a few others filled in the rest of the row.

Alax looked over this group he's become apart.

His cousin, Draco, a year older and as cocky as ever with his platinum hair styled nicely for a new year. His gaze drifted to the girl clinging to Draco's side,

Pansy Parkinson, a girl with long black hair cut in a bob fashion. Her face had also changed slightly, the pug-like features she had were growing into a more picturesque look that complimented her.

His eyes then turned to Blaise Zambini, a tall dark skin boy who was silent most of the time with hidden intellect.

On the other side of Alax was Tracey, a pretty slim girl with long brown hair that she had now tied into a ponytail.

Next to her was Lotty Clocks, a tall willowy girl with round spectacles and straight raven hair that ran down her back.

Alax would often turn his head to catch her gazing at him with something weird in her eyes.

It made him feel awkward as he would blush deeply. He still wasn't used to how the girls at Hogwarts would gaze at him randomly.

There were some girls who seemed to have their act together, like Daphne, the blonde would often treat him with cold looks...but would also treat him with laughs, though they were rare.

Across from him sat Tomas Rosewood, a boy with curly brunette hair, similar to that of a girl, and Bryce Rosier, a blonde slytherin, like himself with a soft face.

Overall he was growing to like this group.

Draco, with a wide grin, started telling a story he heard.
